Reviewer Comments:
We stayed at the Buckhead Lodge for two weeks and absolutely loved the property. It's very quiet, easy to get to with easy driving, and the views are beautiful. We saw tons of wildlife. The shower and water pressure were great, and while the kitchen is on the small side, it was easy to find everything we needed. Our only complaint was an ant infestation outside — fire ants, specifically — that made the fire pit basically unusable. That was the one sad part of the trip, since the fire pit was a big reason we booked this property. The good news is it's totally treatable, and they started treatment while we were there. GMR was super responsive throughout, which we really appreciated.Even with that one issue, we'd happily come back. A beautiful, peaceful spot.

Reviewer Comments:
This cabin was perfect, clean and well organized. We played pool, the arcade game and enjoyed the hot jacuzzi. There was plenty of space and the three levels of balconies had beautiful views. We saw deer several times too. I appreciated the easy drive to and from the cabin with no steep drop offs. It’s close to Helen too. We would definitely stay again.
