FRAUENSCHUH APARTMENTS The Frauenschuh apartment building is just a 5-minute walk from the Planai aerial cableway. In just 3 minutes on foot, you can reach the center of Schladming, with its numerous restaurants, bars, and shops. Short distances ensure a car-free and relaxing summer and winter vacation in Schladming.
Our 6 newly renovated apartments are located on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors (two apartments on each floor). The building has an elevator. Apartments Top 7 through Top 11 feature fully equipped kitchens, two separate bedrooms, and a bathroom. Top 12 is a studio apartment with a bathroom and can be connected to Top 11.
Ski storage at Planet Planai is included in the room rate for our guests. We’re happy to provide a crib and high chair free of charge upon request. Bread rolls can be ordered upon arrival for the entire stay.
Free parking spaces are available next to the building for Top 7 through Top 11. Top 12 does not have its own parking space at the property, but there is a public, free parking lot 200 meters away! Wi-Fi and cable TV are available free of charge. Pets are not allowed in the apartments.
The Congress Schladming convention center is a 5-minute walk away. The nearest airport is Salzburg Airport, which is 90 km from the property.
With more than 123 kilometers of slopes and 44 chairlifts and cable cars, the Schladming Winter World offers access to the 4-Mountain Ski Area—Planai, Hauser Kaibling, Hochwurzen, and Reiteralm—providing everything a winter sports enthusiast could desire. Numerous mountain huts will treat you to culinary delights.
Schladming and the surrounding area offer a wealth of opportunities to stay active off the slopes: winter hiking, snowshoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, ski touring, ice skating, curling, and much more.
The Hopsi Winter Children’s Area is located in the Märchenwiese section of the Planai and, by the way, can be reached not only on skis but also via the “Hopsi-Express” (incline lift), leaving nothing to be desired. Here, families with children can practice their first turns.
This accommodations are a member of the Schladming-Dachstein Card program. From mid-May through November 1, the Schladming-Dachstein Card is included in the price and offers you benefits and discounts such as free use of the cable cars and buses. The Schladming-Dachstein Card is valid starting at 1:00 PM on the day of arrival and is valid all day throughout your entire stay, including the day of departure.
