Good price & location, but hotel needs a refresh. Front desk clerk didn’t program key correctly so couldn’t get into room, had to go back downstairs to do it again. Did have cookies at desk in the evening which was a nice touch.

Stayed here for three nights while our home was being shown for sale. Loved it! Very comfortable. Very convenient! Very nice restaurant.

It was pretty clean overall but on the ground under the bed was not vacuumed and there was some hair in the shower tub

I liked the location. I liked having a restaurant on site. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing that needs improvement would be the shower head.

My daughter and I have been taking our annual Christmas shopping trip to the Somerset Collection mall for years and have stayed at the Somerset Inn. It has always been a great experience. The staff are pleasant, the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and it’s quiet. Also the restaurant has a great breakfast (not included in the price). Best part is, it’s right next to the mall, which makes it perfect for what we need. Highly recommended

Absolutely thin walled facility. You can hear if someone take a shower or take a pies. It has old generation AC units. It kept kicking in and out all night every 5mins. With constant temp deference, it was waking me up from deep sleep very often. I couldn't ran fan constant so that it would not turn on and off every 5-7mins.
They must change less to keep it appropriate. I would pay $110 instead of $168 per night.

The property staff was very nice and professional. The lobby and the entrance is beautiful. The room was very clean a little outdated but the bed and pillows slept great. The room was sound proof so we didn’t hear any noise from the outside which contributed to a great nights rest. Also the restaurant prices were very reasonable inside was very clean and the staff there was very nice as well.

The location is perfect, close to everything and easy to get anywhere from there in the metro Detroit area.

It was okay staying there , location is great, parking was easy, the room was just ok, bathroom kinda of small. Bed was comfortable.

Nice enough hotel, for an older hotel it is in very good condition. Lots of free parking and easily accessible. Comfortable bed. Right next door to a large shopping mall just a short walk away.

I was so happy to be able to check in right away. I made my reservation early morning 7/27/23 but was still able to check in for 7/26/23 and I was so happy! My power was out and I work from home, so I needed WIFI access by 9am on 7/27/23. I was able to check in a little after 4am on 7/27/23. I was also very happy that when I called the hotel for questions, someone at the actual hotel (and not in another state or country) answered the phone. This made me know that the answers that I got were accurate. The whole staff was so nice and helpful. I will continue to come to this hotel.

Everything was amazing except, everytime me and my friends were going to our room, each one of them were asked which room they were in, and was asked what they were there for. I bought 3 rooms(4 people in each) and never exceeded the occupancy in a room. I feel it’s no business why we are here, but we told them it’s just for a bachelor party and then started asking if we had 15 people up their. We had 10 total out of 3 rooms which fits the criteria. Just felt like we were profiled, and harassed

The property was fine but not excellent. The internet was off from 6 pm and consequently all tv channels until our checkout next morning, the reason we were told is the thunderstorm which was long over before the interruption. Briefly not worth the price/night.

nice hotel. The AC unit was very loud in the room, but overal a good experience

The first room had crumbs all over the floor. They moved me to 206. Very depressing decor. The carpet still had loose threads like it hadn’t been vacuumed. The shower. The shower head is nothing. Something from the 70’s. Getting the water temperature ok is impossible. The control is weird. Standing in the plastic tube you feel the give like it will fall through. I weigh 121 pounds!
The sofa is weird two tone azure color. The pillows on the bed are like old rocks. The towels scratchy. The products for the shower cheap. The elevator never came. Nor the service elevator. They have a note up saying high demand. A worker said they just don’t work. Had to carry my suitcase down the stairs.
The only upside. A lovely woman who works in your restaurant and the chocolate chip cookies.
You have an amazing location. So much potential. This desperately needs some TLC.

For the most part, it was a nice stay. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable, however the air did not work very well and if I had not brought a fan it would have been miserable. We had it turned to 67 and it was still reading 79.

It’s dated with popcorn ceilings but maintained well. Dining and bar was mostly empty.

Decent property. Run down a bit, no housekeeping service, and coffee was terrible. But safe and fairly clean

I really would like a fridge and a microwave!

Though the room was roomy it was tired (to say the least). Maid service was spotty. Amenities consisted of low end soap and shampoo along with a hair dryer. The toilet handle had to be jiggled or else water would have been running all night.I stayed for three nights starting on Easter Sunday and the parking lot had 3 cars the first night and perhaps 15 on subsequent nights. Perhaps word had reached others that the Somerset Inn has seen better days and needs a lot of TLC.

Our room was right next to the ice machine I could hear that all day. The walls are so thin I could hear the door open to the fire exit which was also next-door. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything I could hear the neighbors conversations. the Wi-Fi kept cutting out the toilet leaked. There is no fridge.
