The swimming pool and hot tub was dirty look like they haven't use a brush on it for awhile

The property itself was nice, the beds were comfy, everything seemed to be clean. We had one staff member that was rude, and we were sad to find out the pool and hot tub were not open. I wish places would advertise that so we could book elsewhere.

Good location and great recommendation about local restaurants.

The back door by the pool is not locked. Anyone without a key could walk in.
I’m assuming there are young children that may have to be there while their parents are working? They had a personal kids play area set up next to ongoing construction next to the pool area. Why?

I paid for two nights and they called me during an important meeting asking if I would stay. mess of papers, I was disappointed and probably won't use it anymore. Expedi's or hotel's fault?

The first room we were given smelt like human urine (room 108)!!!!! The second room seamed alright…… but when we went to sleep, then we smelled mold and mildew…….. at breakfast the only fruit that was available, was bananas; which were well over ripe!! we’ll never stay there again!!

On a road trip, stayed for one (brief) night. Chose it because of the decent reviews and was pretty surprised there aren’t more critical reviews. The place was very run down. There appears to have been some attempt at sprucing it up, but it’s just lipstick on a pig. My room had a very unpleasant odor. It smelled like stale cigarettes and also had a gross sweet smell, maybe it was from a vape pen. The room appeared relatively clean so I will give them that. The sheets were clean. Linens were old, there was one worn out fleece blanket sandwiched between a top sheet and a bedspread. The carpet was a dark pattern so impossible to see if it was dirty or not. I didn’t dare walk around without sandals. Overall it just felt icky. I slept with my clothes on and left as soon as the sun was up.

I stayed there for the Cranberry Festival. I have stayed in multiple different hotels in Black River Falls, and they have all been great. This one was fine, could have been a little nicer. The toilet seat was almost falling off and they didn’t have an elevator, so after walking miles I then had to walk up there stairs and carrying all of my things. I also had an older person with me so being on the second floor was pretty inconvenient without an elevator. I had asked to be moved to the first floor but was told there were no open rooms.

Check in was smooth. Our room was very musty smelling missing a shower curtain so I told the front desk before I left for the day. Came back to my bed made no new towels, not even dirty taken had to ask again for a shower curtain before the front desk just handed me one. Bathroom overall was clean but don’t look at finer details like the toilet paper holder arms I don’t think had ever been wiped down. No extra toilet paper in our room. Not worth the price they expect nowadays. Stay somewhere else.

Close by to several eating places, fuel stops, and a Walmart. Breakfast and a hottub although I had to leave before the 6 Am start time for Breakfast.

This property was pretty nice 6 years ago but seems to be in a decline, as we stay there annually for an event in Black River Falls. This time we had no shower curtain and the bathroom floor was very dirty. Mattress was saggy. There was a very nice gal at the front desk on Friday night but she was the only one there with all the people checking in.

Bedsides the pretty noticeable blood stain on the comforter (may not have been blood, but thats what it looked like) and the fact that we had one towel in the room when we got there... it was an alright stay.
The pool was nice and breakfast was good.

Pool was closed, we’re not informed at check in. Tub was dirty. The rest of the room appeared clean. They did have an awesome breakfast with make your own omelette!

The shower and bathroom were filthy! Hair stuck on the tub walls. Hairballs sitting on top of the drain. Hair and dirt along all the edges of the bathroom walls. My feet turned black from walking on the carpeting in the room. We felt unsafe because there were several people hanging around in the parking lot that were not staying at the hotel. They were there all night and still there in the morning. Hanging out on the rock wall between the hotel and Culvers. Will not stay here again.

Great place for price- if you are a light sleeper ask for a room in the back because of highway noises. Good breakfast.

Smells bad every where

We’ve now stayed at three different hotels at this exit and this was the bottom of the 3. It’s not terrible, but it’s just a bit worn. It’s also the least expensive of the 3, so there’s that. Not much in the way of breakfast options, though they did have a pancake maker.

Disappointed by this property. We weren’t expecting anything special but our rooms smelled SO BAD. Ours smelled like mothballs and my sisters smelled like cigarettes. The carpet in the room was STICKY- so gross you couldn’t walk on it without shoes. Also would not recommend the first floor to anyone traveling solo- window locks were flimsy and faced a pitch black lot with truckers parking it it overnight.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had an enjoyable stay. The only negative, which isn't Days Inn's fault, was the thoughtless guests that don't pick up their dog poop.

Stayed for 3 nights over the holiday weekend with our dog. They conveniently placed us by the door for fast access to their “outside pet area”, was very nice. The beds were very comfy and the AC was amazing! Very impressed with their selections for breakfast!!! The pool was also great, is salt water!
