Nice place to stay in Rochester for Mother’s Day weekend. One overnight. Nearby to a lot of things to do.

The hotel was very clean and the room was very comfortable. The gym area was very small, wasn't room to really do anything in it unless you were on a machine. The pictures online are not of the actual hotel, but renderings. It was clearly an older hotel that was being remodeled, which did not align with the pictures which made it look like a newer hotel. The elevator was clunky and loud, but functional. Overall it was a good stay, very quiet, clean and comfortable, but the hotel didn't align with what I was expecting given the online renderings.

just wish the pool will be opened at some point. we'd love to come back but would prefer a hotel with working pool

My original room smelled like cigarette smoke ineffectively mixed with deodorizer, and the temp in the room was about 60° due to Housekeeping's efforts to air it out. I requested and was given a new room. That night, I noticed that the water from the faucet didn't warm up, but thought it needed time. No big deal. Next morning, there was no hot water from the faucet or shower, even after running for 15 minutes. I did an icy sponge bath before my early appt., told the clerk upon checkout, and was told I'd hear from the mgr. later that day with some compensation. I called later and was assured that plumbers were in the building and I would hear. I've called 3x since, was assured yesterday that I would receive a credit from the mgr. by email. No email, no call, no email in spam folder.....Nothing. Very disappointing. I live nearby, and won't be recommending this hotel.

There was no pool even though it was advertised as they had one. We were bored in our room the whole time. We picked the hotel for the pool and were very disappointed to find out they didn’t have one. There were loud drunk people in the hall who kept slamming doors and yelling and pounding on walls and kept waking up my baby and making her cry until 3 am. When I asked to speak with the manager I was told multiple times that she wasn’t there and they told me when to come back to speak to her and when I would come back at the time I was told to she still wouldn’t be there. Finally when she was there I explained to her that my baby was woken up multiple times throughout the night due to loud drunk people and her response was “we were sold out last night” and then I explained we were there for a pool and it’s advertised online and we have nothing to do but sit in our room bored and I asked for a partial refund and early check out and she kinda laughed at me and said she wasn’t going to refund half my stay and said I needed to contact hotels and let them decide how to help me.

The room we stayed in was on the first floor, which was great. The cleanness of the room was good i did notice the fan in the bathroom needed to be clean it had black mold on it. Also the toilet seat was loose which is not good for somebody that has a prosthetic and could fall. Also they need more bars in the bathroom as safety. I would say over all my experience was good. The noise volume was well controlled as well.

Booked under the assumption there was a pool due to advertising on hotels website and Expedia, however, pool was closed and had been closed since December. Staff was rude about it and stated it was said on the website but when showed proof of it not being stated just shrugged shoulders. Hotel roomed smelled not fresh, and elevator made creaking and load noises. Will never go back to this place, did not even stay the night but was still charged full price and was not even offered partial refund for the false advertising.

Most rude and disrespectful late night front desk person of all my experiences in hotel stays of my whole life yet!
I had unexpected visitors come late night and no one had been disruptive nor rude and certainly hadn't made a disturbance! Even as I only had the last come rudely and loudly banging upon my door to rudely snap her neck and fingers while speaking as if I were her disappointing child that's done something again disappointing to her. I had not done anything for this treatment as immediate as my opening the door to address this knocking while included as I was to see the front desks reason coming to my door and to inform them of my status with what ever might be needed to inform of things. Never received a phonecall seeing as the phone was never hooked up to the wall just set beside the bed with the image of it up and running but it wasn't plugged into wherever the hidden wall unit for the phone was to hook it up. So this banging on the door and rude lady unjustly ... This is not a place anyone should stay

Only a "Spark" for 3 weeks when I stayed there: comfortable, clean, convenient to MCC, UofR, R.I.T., restaurants and big box stores in Henrietta. Big room with fridge, iron and ironing board, tv. Excellent hot and cold breakfast included. Friendly, helpful manager. Staff still new.

The pool and fitness areas were closed. Having a pool was a huge factor in my choosing this hotel. Very disappointed for that. The breakfast advertised on website turned out to be only bagels and a few muffins and yogurt which was not restocked. Again, a big factor for choosing this location very disappointing.

I would like a full refund for my reservation. I arrived at the hotel and they could not find my reservation that I booked in December and paid for. They said because my reservation was not with their new name, there was no reservation for me. I was not the only person who had this problem, the concierge said we were the third person who had this issue (one being my Brother) and that there was nothing that could be done for me. I went to a different hotel for the night as I would of had to pay AGAIN to book a room and at a much higher rate. Im annoyed and want a full refund for my reservation.

They were under construction the 1st room was not what I paid for the second was a suite which is what I booked. But there was only one tv in the room but none in the living area. When it was time to shower guess what no shower curtain the phone was not connected had to go to front desk to get one. The first night went by and when we left for the day and returned that evening we had clean towels but the bed was not made. It didn’t surprise us but live and learn ☹️

The first room I was given, I unknowingly spent the night in a room with a door that didn’t latch or lock and no functioning phone. Once discovered I requested a new room for my remaining 3 days. Room #2 was equally a disaster as the sink didn’t drain, again phone didn’t work, and there was no handle on the shower to turn the water on! I wish I was joking. Pack my crap up again and go down to demand a functional room because that is what I’m paying for!!! I’m handed the key card for room number 3. I’ve thus far been unable to shower and am still in my pajamas mind you. Get up to room 3 and the key doesn’t work. Back downstairs at the counter for my 5th time that morning to get another key. Back upstairs with my second set of keys and again won’t work. By now I’m bawling from the stress that is this hotel that I’m staying in for Christmas. The counter guy meets me at the elevator cause he watched the camera and saw I was unable to get in my room. He then turned the wrong way off the elevator walked a few steps to then turn on me and says oh your room is at the other end you were at the wrong room! I as calmly as I could said YOU WENT THE WRONG WAY NOT ME!! I know how to read room numbers! Finally he lets me in the room to which I still have no key, he had to use a master. I’m stranded in this room while he makes and tries 3 more sets of keys and can’t get any to work. 3 rooms, 3 strikes I’m done. I had to find a new hotel for the rest of my trip on Christmas Eve!

I reserved 2 rooms at this hotel because it said they had a pool and continental breakfast, then later I asked about the pool and was then told it was closed as well as the exercise room. This could have been said online because I would have not booked at this hotel if I knew that prior. Then I also find out that there was no breakfast, the worker rudely told me that it’s a bag breakfast that came with a water and a muffin. This was one of the worse hotels that I have stayed at and I would not recommend it to anyone nore will I return to this hotel.

Under some construction at the moment. Some things not up to par because of it. I’m sure will be fine when finished.

No one told us the hotel was being renovated when I booked and after i called. The rooms didnt have microwaves in them and the wifi was unsatisfactory.

Horrible stay. They were overbooked and the room was disgusting because of sewer pipe leak.

Lobby and floors under construction which was not identified at the time of booking. No breakfast, contractors everywhere. Lobby area was a disaster. No staff at front desk.
Outside lighting is next to none. Construction devrus in the parking lot.
They should have closed during renovation

Was promised a pool and breakfast. Doing remodeling at site, neither was available. Thinking I should get some reimbursement.

The entire first floor is under construction. Dust everywhere. Pool and kitchen closed. When I asked why the construction notice wasn’t posted on Orbitz, they said it was in Expedia. Embarrassing to bring two artists performant from Puerto Rico to this hotel. It was like we were entering a building under construction. I will never again recommend this hotel to anyone. This is very irresponsible of the owners. No apologies were given and the dust triggered one of the singer’s allergies. I should get reimbursed for this horrible experience. Very disappointed with Orbitz for not making all the effort to get our reimbursement. I have pictures that proof the conditions of this place.

The location of the property is perfect, close to the airport but there iwas no notification on the Orbitz website indicating that this property was under construction renovations. The entire first floor is unbearable due to dust. It includes breakfast but the kitchen is closed and do fíes the Pool. There was no apology. The staffs reply was that it was listed on Expedia but I reserved through Orbitz, not Expedia. I took pictures of the actual site conditions. It was embarrassing for me to checked my artists performants from out of the state in this hotel. What a disappointment! Never again!!!

Place inside was torn up, limited services. Room heater made noises every time it shut off, water leaked on the floor. No compensation for the poor quality. Will not go back

Pool is not the same as shown, under reconstruction and thats not a fact shared. 1 microwave for the whole establishment, and breakfast has no options other than bagged cold breakfast. Rooms dont cleaned everyday. Dusty, and when asked for their corporate's contact info staff tends to be rude.

Do not stay here. They are currently under renovation. They have the stairwells blocked off, so there is no emergency exit. The elevator seemed to be barely functioning, and all of the smoke detectors were covered up.

Under construction should be closed no access to pool, false advertisement. Room itself was good.

While still doing renovations, the room is small but very nice.

Things are new but maybe too new.
The hand wash tap has no cold water , so you need to wash your hands very fast otherwise it burn your hand . So I bend down and use the bath tap.
No breakfast during the renovation! !!
Should show on the apps!!! Hotels next to it offer breakfast as well .

1. They were under construction but it seemed like a DIY Hodge Podge operation.
2. Our space was nice but needed a microwave

Vending machine room floor very dirty. Vending machines only took singles. Front desk had no change for a $5. Some trash left on table in swimming area from previous afternoon and floor was dirty around the table. Breakfast was nearly non-existent at 8:30. No coffee. Reserved this hotel because a suite was only $150 total. Definitely an older, worn hotel. Won't be returning.

Part of the hotel was under renovation. We did not get a renovated room and it was disgusting. This should be noted on the listing. Very disappointed paid top dollar for something that should have been closed.

The hotel was under construction and we were never made aware until we were woken at 7am by drilling and pounding on the ceiling. We tried to relax to no avail because a couple hours later (it was still before 10 am but all the clocks said almost 11 because they had not been changed from daylight savings time) the house keeper came banging on the door asking if we were leaving. We told her it was only 10 am and she was annoyed we weren’t out yet. The remote was disgusting. The bathtub didn’t drain. The floor had paint or adhesive stuck to it. The picture in the bathroom was molded. I tried to mention my concerns at checkout but the lady didn’t seem to care and wouldn’t give me her name. I took video recordings of the sounds of drilling and pounding from the construction. But it would only allow me to upload photos.
