Even with the apparent renovations going on, the room was clean/comfortable and the service was genuine. I slept well and enjoyed my stay.

It was good for the price. It did look like it could have been cleaned better in the bathroom. Also water pressure was not great. Other than that, it was a decent stay.

Decent and quiet stay. Room was very nicely sized. Bathroom was a bit small in comparison and door space to toilet was very small. Hotel is renovating to upgrade and refresh. Staff was all very friendly. Breakfast was good as well and hot and fresh. Would stay again.

Even though they are under major renovation the hotel was excellent. Kudos to the staff as they must endure the makeshift areas to work in as well. Breakfast was the best we have had. A free beverage for each was offered at check in as well. Our stay overall was excellent. No complaints .

Under renovation

Construction was going on all over the main floor with (white) construction/paint powder and crew working as we walked in. There was no way to get around without getting your nose stuffed with dry paint powder and your shoes and clothing ruined. The facility should absolutely NOT be open with such a degraded and messy experience for paying guests.

Good location for shopping and business in Overland Park and the area. As noted elsewhere the property is being renovated with a temporary registration desk and breakfst area. Other than that the room was excellent, very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our room was up on the 4th floor, quiet. Front desk staf was friendly and efficient.

When I booked I was not made aware of construction-renovation. However…room rate likely discounted for that reason. Room was superb and first class. Probably too expensive after renovation.

The renovations are what brought my earring down. Once they’re finished I’m sure they will be excellent.

Flight incoming to KC was canceled due to snow storm and hotel would not issue a refund nor a credit.

I like the room nice and clean.!didn’t like the fact they lobby was on construction and the didn’t notify customers in advance.

Very nice hotel but in the process or remodeling so need to know that. Service and room were excellent. Entrance area was in the process of being worked on.

As of Feb 2024, this property is under construction. Other than the normal discombobulation that construction causes, our stay was good. Breakfast was yummy, the staff was very kind and helpful, and our room was clean and quiet. This Hyatt will look very nice once the remodel is done.

I have stayed at this property many times. They are currently renovating but the staff was great. The location is good (and super quiet) but you’ll need a car for the area. I think when the renovation is complete it will be a perfect small no-fuss hotel for solo and family travelers. Staff is friendly and efficient. Great non-invasive housekeeping.

Though the property is going through renovations, they keep the areas clean and dust free. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. I would definitely come back.

They are remodeling but are doing a good job of keeping the space clean and sectioned off. The breakfast was amazing! Great buffet and everything tasted good.

This property is being renovated. Although the front area is being worked on the, staff was very friendly and helpful. The work did not impact my stay and look forward to staying here after the renovations are completed.

The rooms was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was a little dated. but its in the process of being remodel. Would have been nice to know this before we booked our stay. but the staff went above and beyond to ensure out stay was comfortable.

Was concerned once I arrived and saw it was under construction but quickly realized that it wasn’t going to affect my stay at all. The young man at the front desk was great and extremely friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

We were not informed at booking that the property was undergoing renovations. The construction was pretty intense and it should have been noted long before we got there. Because the front desk was relocated to a common room, the back door by the elevators was left unlocked and had a note on the door indicating that it would remain unlocked. This did not feel safe to me.

Hopefully remodel won't take too much longer! Great place to stay.

I think this property may need or have just gotten new ownership. Run down and didnt meet my expectations for this brand. Fitness room equipment needs fixed, screws holding door handles on, limited hot water, running toilet. I just expected more. Stay somewhere else if these things matter to you. To be fair, they are doing some remodeling now so I didn’t address anything related to that.

Everything is good except bathroom is very small and crowed. Like they have two sinks outside the bathroom.

I have never felt absolutely scammed by a property as I was here. The entire lobby area was a construction zone. The entire front area was a construction zone. I was told this was disclosed in the booking notes, but I have screen shots of them all and the extent of this construction was NOT disclosed if at all. There is NO WAY that this hotel in good conscious should be accepting reservations at a market rate during construction When I raised the issue with the front desk (which was actually a multipurpose room that also doubled as the “bar”, dining area, and concession area), I was told it was an Expedia issue and I fully intend to escalate the matter further, which means more of my time wasted. I have never been more disappointed in a stay at a hotel. Also, the room was hot even with the AC on because it ran inconsistent, the shower/toilet space is laughable. I am a petite adult and could barely squeeze in and close the door. The toilet needs the handle juggled at times to stop running. The beds were also horrible. This was intended to be a relaxing stay and instead it was unpleasant and stressful. I purposely selected this hotel based on the photos of a nice lobby and bar area and none of it was there. At all. I have photos of everything. I am owed an explanation from Expedia and the hotel. I feel like they stole my money. What a complete joke.

The hotel is undergoing renovations, unknown before we arrived. Staff was nice; breakfast was fair. The hotel does not seem that old, but was ridden hard and put away wet. Wait until renovations are done before booking. Also note: there is another property with the same name; luckily, the staff there was kind of enough to direct us to our property. Both properties are under renovation.

I had no idea the property was under renovation! And not just a little, but a LOT of construction! I would have not stayed here if I knew how many amenities were missing, and the employee at the ‘check-in/dining area/lounge’ was condescending and rude.

The room was really nice. Needs new pillows. Also they are doing remodeling. Wasnt an issue though.

AC/Heat unit leaking all over floor, sink drain very slow, not enough seating for breakfast, huge construction remodel going on that was insane loud.

They was construction going on so the lobby was completely closed. Had I known I would not have booked it. Housekeeping did a terrible job two of the three cleanings. I took pictures because I was so surprised. I will not stay again nor recommend it.

Currently under a lot of construction although it wasn't loud parking was a hassel. There were very friendly staff then there was one not so friendly. Luckily she was only there the morning of departure. The rooms are badly built making it hard to close the bathroom door. Cleaning could have been better; hair on the back of door ect, but i always come prepared. Overall good ammenities.
