Lisa checked us in. I couldn’t climb stairs so she found us a room on the ground floor. Beautiful view of the lake! Much appreciated. The room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. I especially loved the pillows!!!!! Bathroom had all we needed. Towels were large and soft. My only criticism would be the bathroom door opened toward the bed and the switches were on the outside on the opposite side of the door entry. Weird! We would stay there again.

Anything we had needed, they were right there for you. A charming place to relax with an amazing view of the lake. Bed was very comfortable.

no frills hotel. Reasonable to stay if you just need a place to sleep for a night.
no elevator so if you are on the second floor, you have to haul your luggage up the stairs

It would have been a 5 star review but our room was super problematic. My fiance locked the bathroom door then it wouldnt open. He was stuck in there for a good half hour before the door unstuck and was able to open. Window you had to pry open just to get some fresh air. Black stains on the carpet. Other than that the stay was good.

It wasn't the worst I've been in at all but there were so many things that were wrong. To start off, I e of the outlets were broken and exposed but still had a lamp plugged into it smh, the heater kept going cold on us, and we couldn't even get extra towels considering we were there for 2 days.

Our room was so small that the dresser drawers opened into the base of the bed mattress. The heater noise was like water torture on and off all night long every 5 minutes. The shower curtain was yellow beige at the base indicating it had not been cleaned in a while. We never had cleaning service during a four night stay.

Property is nice but we are in winter...so...could not enjoy the outside with the lake

Reserved a single Queen room while traveling through Expedia. Late night check-in went smoothly and I was in my room promptly. Room is very small. There was only enough space to walk around the bed to get to the heating/AC unit. Dresser drawers did not stay closed and kept opening throughout my 2 night stay which I found annoying. Bed was somewhat uncomfortable and sunken in the middle like it is an affordable bed that was put in the room 10 years ago. Bathroom was also very small, however the after running the water for some time on this frigid night it ran hot and was able to enjoy a long hot shower. Towels were also cheap and small, the bath towel was only slightly smaller than a hand towel, but there were several placed in the room so was able to make due. I chose the lake view room and this was the best part of my stay as it was very quiet and serene and the view over the moonlit lake was very nice. They do no serve breakfast, only coffee or tea. Staff was friendly and courteous and parking was ample and convenient.
Overall, definitely not worth their regular rate of around $100 per night, but would consider staying there again at a lower rate.

The guy was rude. He said” He said you only pay $60 and you expect the best”
I told him to change my room because they didn’t vacuum the carpet . Then he showed me the worst room to the point I decided to keep the dirty room.
He was not friendly at all

There was bedbugs in our bed and the lady at the reception didn't want to move us to a different room

This is a get what you pay for property so my expectations weren’t too high. The room hadn’t bn vacuumed properly. There was trash under the bed and some pills behind the nightstand. I really wish there was a microwave in the unit.

It was ok for what I needed it, a two night stay.

Overall the place was great, we had a room with a great view, however it was a chore to find working outlets to plug in our electronics. The ice machine was not working and the hallway reeked of marijuana. I was awoken at roughy 2-3 am by girls running and screaming/laughing up and down the hall and boys knocking on doors. The property itself was great, easy charging for my EV car, and easy to navigate around the area. Would stay here again.

They used to have complimentary breakfast, now they don't serve breakfast at all, even though they have a restaurant, no housekeeping, unless you specifically request it. I had to ask for bath towels and coffee packets for the room coffeemaker. The heater kept going on and off, all night, had to actually turn it off to get some sleep. The staff was very accommodating when I asked for something. The Inn was conveniently located for my purpose and the view of the lake is very pretty.

I had a pleasant stay at the Lakeside Inn.

Quiet & not as costly as other spots near the city. It’s 30 min from Salem but 1/3 of Salem’s lodging rates.

I was very surprised about the condition of the property given the price point compared to others in the area. The lobby was very clean and inviting. The room was clean, save for some minor staining on the carpet. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. No complaints from me.

The property was not what I expected the view of the lake was beautiful but the rooms were in adequate. There was a hole in the bathroom door and in the main door there is a malfunction to the security lock where the hinge and the frame was broken. The staff knew about it and said it was some thing that they were working on. I didn’t appreciate that room offered to customer in that condition . Luckily for us the room worked just for the weekend that we were there but otherwise I would not stay there again. For a place that’s on the lake is very subpar.

It was a lovely little hotel. About 20 minutes from boston, 30 from Salem so it wasn’t to hard to get anywhere. I’d definitely stay again.

Room was not properly cleaned when I checked in. Bedding was dirty looking and pillows were terrible. Ice machine was not working. Shower dripped all night couldn’t fully shut it off. Fan in bathroom was really noisy and aggravatingly loud.

The staff was extremely accommodating. This is definitely a self service hotel, you have to go to the desk to get clean towels, coffee, etc. There is no housekeeping service. The on line sites need to update that there is NO breakfast available.

The stay was great for what we had planned! The place is a little outdated and rugs were dirty, towels are super small but overall it was ok for a place to stay and sleep and continue to sight see

The property is in a good location for what we needed. The staff was friendly for the most part.
We had an issue with the room key. The front desk gave us a new one with o issue. I was told that when the light on the lock turns green we could enter. I mentioned that I was color blind and receive not comment. I also mentioned an issue with the door handle. I was then told one had to lift up on the handle - like I was less than smart for not knowing that.
The room was okay. It appeared to be clean. Upon examination did notice some marks on one of of the walls. Also the toilet tilted if you leaned on it. There were only towels for one person in the bathroom. There 2 of staying there. There was no trash receptacle in the bathroom. It was across the hall in the closet.
I also mentioned the the site did not allow me to request a handicapped room and be on the first floor (there is no elevator)

Very run down. Clean enough, but in Desperate need of repairs. The lounge/bar was closed, the gas fire pit didn't work. There was quite a lot of garbage around the property and even old mattresses at one end of the complex near the pool.
