When we tried to check in, they did not have both of my rooms link together. I had to give the names of the people in the second room for him to be able to find it. And, because I arrived after 9 PM, they had given away my adjoining rooms. The desk agent was very rude.
The two beds in room 417 were deplorable. The mattresses need to be replaced. In a room that’s meant for four, there were only two towels and one face cloth.
In the morning for breakfast, there was no coffee for a very long time, then there were no cups to put the coffee in for a very long time. And no plates at all.
We were charged $100 per room that we were told would be reimbursed to the credit card, and so far we do not see it reimbursed.

Charged card a different amount then explaining after I questioned what it was for. Rude at desk.

Hotel was run down. Both beds had stains on pillows, sheets, and comforter. Couldnt tell if sheets were even clean. Breakfast was waffles, cold hard boiled eggs, cereal, instant oatmeal, and toast.

Spacious, clean, comfortable, nice tv and Wi-Fi. Breakfast was just ok.

I asked for another room after I complained that the first room smelled like dogs. The desk clerk was very courteous and gave us another room immediately.

The “breakfast” had nothing with any kind of nutrition. The towels had old blood on them. The back door didn’t lock. It was overall pretty poor to average.

Arrived on a Saturday evening. Noticed that TV was not working properly. Brought it to the attention of front desk they indicated they would let maintenance know. Not fixed on Sunday. Mentioned again to front desk - was told maintenance was not in on Sundays. Monday night returned to hotel. TV still not fixed. Front desk said that maintenance is not in on Monday's either. Mentioned that I had been told many different things since Saturday evening, was told that there was new staff.
Saturday was given some options for moving, but at that point had already gotten settled in. Front desk gave me some suggestions to fix myself. While trying these fixes noticed that behind the dresser/TV stand was quite dirty/dusty.
Breakfast was mediocre. Orange juice dispenser only provided water.
I have had good stays in various LaQuinta hotels across the country, but will probably not choose to stay in any again.

Very nice room. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Helpful staff. The little “store” with snacks and drinks barely had anything in it. I bought a soda and it cost nearly 4 bucks!! Decent place overall.

Horrible customer service

The room was comfortable. There was a leak from the toilet water tank that dribbled on the floor when the toilet was flushed. Told the front desk about it. The carpet a couple of feet away from the bathroom tile was wet and slightly sticky. Also told the front desk about it. Im sure maintenance will be fixing those issues.

Great location at a decent price. However, there was an issue with the hot water during the morning. The staff wasn’t friendly enough when we asked when we could expect to have hot water again.

Stayed here for 4 days. We didn't have hot water for 2 days and our room was cold because the heating unit was not working properly. There wasn't a manager available to talk to regarding these issues. Front desk attendant was very annoyed due to the fact that the manager wasn't answering her phone calls.

Ariel at the front desk was wonderful!!

There was a couple next door who were yelling and verbally abusing one another for 2 days. I called the front desk on the second day and they did call the room. The disruptions did settle down after.

No it smelled like mold and cigarette

The room was nice. The issue is that the doors in the back of the hotel are open and unlocked all night. I spoke to the staff and they said management won’t do anything about it. This is a safety and security issue leaving all guests in the hotel open to nefarious acts by outside actors.

Stay here if you need a bed but don’t care about the hot breakfast. I’m a sucker for a good hotel breakfast and this was unfortunately the opposite. The only hot option was waffles but the machines were a little dirty and there was no spray so the waffles kept sticking to the machine. They had cereal but the milk was empty. The juice machine was broken so there weren’t drink options either.
Like I said, decently comfortable bed but don’t rely on the breakfast.

No housekeeping, you have to go get towels. Bathrooms in the lobby are always locked. Ran out of waffle batter multiple mornings. Ran out of coffee, the juice machine was out of order. The shop for sundries etc. was empty. Someone on my floor was constantly smoking. The thermostat in the room didn't work. Pretty disappointing, as I stay at other LaQuinta properties and they are always great.

Dirty. Noisy. The beds were lumpy. The pillows were old feather pillows that were lumpy. Wanted to check in an hour early they wanted to charge $50. Never going back. Suggest you don't go either.

Booking through Expedia - they will charge you a $75 “holding fee” once you check out and they check your room and confirm you didn’t destroy it - they’ll give you the $75 back. Also - even if your room is ready and available for you - you will not be allowed to enter the room until 3pm. 1 minute before 3PM and you will be charged an additional $50. Place must be going out of business as they are hard up for money. Nickel and dime you for everything. We drove 8 hours to this hotel - and because we arrived at 2:50 we were not allowed into the room or allowed to use the public restroom. Not until 3pm or it’s a $50 charge.

Our check in was nothing but disappointing. We travel from Nebraska often and check into places very early into the morning hours, with or without a reservation. Commonly 2 or 3 am. The woman at the front called us at 3am and told us she was about to do her audit and wondered if we were coming in. (I've never had a call like that before from anywhere) and luckily we were pulling up into the parking lot. She checked us in before we walked in the door and started her audit. We had to stand and wait for her to finish it. Extremely tired after an 8 hour drive. We asked the woman why she started the audit process, as she had just talked to us and we said we were pulling up, it could have waited. She started to get loud about how she was being courteous and checking us in before doing the audit. The conversations got heated and the woman suggested that we leave if we didnt like the way things were going to be.
As for the property, oh the rooms are SO CUTE! Have never stayed there before. Besides the initial incident upon arrival at 3am, the place was nice.

Shoutout to Ariel at the front desk who helped us check-in early morning on Christmas day! She was wonderful and gave us all the information we needed to get our sleepy selves into our room on the 5th floor. The views of the rockies were awesome- i would recommend asking the staff for a room that faces the mountains! The room was spacious with comforatble beds, a mini fridge, a microwave, and coffee maker. The bathroom was clean with all facilities in working condition. The heating worked fine and kept us comfortable for most of the part. Options for breakfast were a bit lesser than we hoped- bread, bagels, cereal, waffles and , juices, and hot bevergaes. Overall the breakfast was decent especially having access to to hot coffee before heading out for sightseeing. The fitness centre has 3-4 machines in working condition and was a plus!
Loved our stay at la quinta, lakewood. I would recommend it for a comfortable stay. Also, the property is non- smoking!

Rooms are very outdated, bed was terrible and pillows as well. Couple next door fought from 4:30am until 6:30am. Breakfast was disappointing and when I bit into a hard boiled egg the taste was so spoiled I instantly had to exit so I could vomit.

Christmas Day evening Front Desk was amazing!

We had one tiny bar of soap, no washcloths. A vent on the heater (the one that pointed toward the bed) was blowing cold air (the temperature was 9 degrees yesterday morning). There was an old stain on the bottom of the toilet. The shower curtain rod hangs down in the center, so it takes a lot to get it to stay closed during a shower. The keys didn't work on the second night, so we had to get new ones. The front desk people were great though!! But we won't be back.

We have been very impressed with this property and it's employees. We had a stay booked, and then arrived 1 days early, so we booked 2 more days separately. We were ready to have to move rooms between the 2 stays, but the frot desk staff were able to keep us in the same room. We've been very pleased with all parts of our stay, although the included breakfast was nothing extraordinary, it was passable.

Good place, but I felt charging $50 for an hour and a half early check-in was excessive.

Hotel is not amazing but it's adequate. The halls were not that clean but the rooms were very clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. Area is safe. Breakfast was decent but not anything above and beyond (waffle maker, cereal, bagels, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, juice, etc). Overall wasn't fancy or upscale but worked for a clean safe place to crash for a couple nights.

Comfortable, clean, meets demands of any hotel critic. Well kept and provides environment for work or rest.
