Great friendly staff. The only thing I wish is you had more handicap places to park.

Hotel was comfortable enough for 1 night... when we walked into our non-smoking room, it had a STRONG musty smoke smell. It seemed to be coming from the AC, so we turned it off - all night - which helped. Thankfully it wasn't hot outside. In general, the hotel is showing it's age, although the bathroom appeared to be remodeled somewhat recently, which was nice.

Excellent location to stay at if you are visiting The Ark Experience.
Plenty of restaurants to walk to and Walmart was very close by.
Overall we are happy with the room and facility.
The shower did have some pink mold spots that need addressed and the lotion on the wall was out.

The guy running the counter has been here over 16 years and is so nice & welcoming. This is my second stay in the past month and will likely keep coming as the place is clean, quiet, the employees are great & the price is perfect for really any budget!

Our first night in room 217. Room was being painted and some areas were still tacky to the touch. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Second night we changed rooms to room 320 and bed was better. Food was cold second day for breakfast. Looked like the eggs were used day before and reheated.

This Microtel was very nice. I am picky. Not rich picky. Just picky. It was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Dining very close by.Close to the main road. I stayed five days and was happy.

There was a stain and a couple of small holes in the bedsheet, but besides that, this was a very nice economical place to stay!

We chose this hotel based on how close it is to the Ark. This hotel is so unkept, so dirty, I almost turned around and went away. We were put in a room in the second floor; the smell of cigarrette was unbearable. The front desk told us the “painters must’ve smoked there”. We were moved to the 3rd floor, which didn’t smell but was equally as dirty. Walls are paper thin. The only positive thing I can say about this place was the breakfast was ok (waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, toast, etc). I was glad our stay was short.

Apparently it is near a railroad. Heard train horns all night. Breakfast was okay. With most of the reviews i was expecting alot more. It was scrambled eggs sausage links and a waffle maker. They had some cold stuff too but i was expecting more. My fault. Haha i knew better
The hotel is older and needs some renovation but it served its purpose.

The room we got had a hole behind the tv and we were able to hear the tv and voices from the other room. The person at the front desk said they didn’t have more rooms available to move us. We had to wait until after 12am to able
To go to sleep (until our neighbors went to sleep). They didn’t give us a discount and the front desk lady said that the manager was out for three weeks!

A/C unit was malfunction from time I walked in. Didn't heat. She turned it up to 78 degrees before came on. "We'll replace if doesn't fix. Kept me awake all night with sounds of decompressing. Replaced w/ new one next day. I was reimbursed $40. Thanks.
I acquired two large blood-sucks on my leg. I'm having difficulty w/ traveling in N.KY area.
