Nice location in Henderson.

Very nice resort off the strip. Friendly staff, large rooms. Could use more staff at coffee shop and upgrade to "VIP" room. They cancelled my reservation inadvertently prior to our arrival but still took very good care of us. Excellent food options nearby and casino is "more chill" than on the strip. Would stay here again!

Never cleaned room during stay. Telephone was not functioning. Beds were comfortable. Have stayed here many times but starting to look older and in need of updating.

The hotel & casino was very nice. I was very impressed with his nice it was. The room appeared very nice and clean upon further inspection it was not. My bedsheets were covered in hair from idk where. I called front desk and they offered me another room or they could come out new sheets on the bed for me. I chose clean sheets. They immediately came to my room and resolved the issue. They were very prompt about it. Checked on me numerous times that I was satisfied with my room. Aside from that I really enjoyed the room, my stay, the facilities. I felt safe and comfortable there. I would stay there again.

Great hotel but our toilet was dirty and I do not like that there is no coffee in the room.

The hotel is beautiful. The pool area is excellent. The Sand Bar restaurant by the pool was very good and the staff were friendly and responsive. Poolside service was very good. Now the bad news, there was no hot water. The front hotel desk was busy and not responsive. They made us feel like it was our fault and/or that they didn’t believe us. They changed our room, but the process was silly and ended up making us wait a long time because they required us to use a bellman. Our stay was only two days, so the waiting around and changing rooms greatly reduced our enjoyment of the property. But, the real challenge was the attitude of the front desk staff. For our troubles, we received a $25 food credit. The rooms are expensive. It is a lovely resort. But, the front desk staff need training.

The employees are very friendly and go out of their way to assist with whatever you need or answer whatever question you might have. They touch bases w you to see if your request had been handled and always ask if there is anything else they can do for you. Great business model!

Wish the pool had better hours. 10-5 just didn’t work for our schedule so we didn’t end up using the pool which was a bummer!

GVR is very nice and comfortable. All areas are kept clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. I gave my overall stay 4 stars because the room we stayed in had some noticeable wear and tear like stains and beat up furniture.
We paid extra for a balcony room but it looked out over the registration entrance so the view was not so special. Also, the pigeons were gathered on the balcony and there was a lot of pigeon poop on the balcony which was not very pleasant. I regret paying the extra money for the balcony.

This was our third or fourth stay at Green Valley Ranch. We booked through Hotels.com so we got a 20% off discount for food which we used on a very good breakfast at the Lucky Penny Cafe. We also had our anniversary dinner at Bottiglia and the food was great. Excellent service at both places.
There was one pool open, but it was a very windy and not very warm weekend, so we didn't use the pool on this trip.
We did use the Spa Fitness center (open 24/7), which has the normal treadmills, stair climbers, weight machines, and a rack of dumbbells which ranges from 10 lbs to 50 or so. Make sure you use it so that you get some value from the $50 nightly resort fee. The resort fee doesn't include the spa services, one of which was being able to use the Jacuzzi.
One maintenance issue: we woke up on Saturday morning we found that the shower only had hot water, and same for the sink. Fortunately the bathtub had both hot and sold working, so we were able to avoid scalding ourselves. We called the front desk and the maintenance crew fixed the problem while we were out for the day.
As shown in photos of the property, it is 5 to 7 stories tall, and wraps around the pool area. This results in long walks through the corridors to get to your room, or just get anywhere.
We also took advantage of the Food Court for in-between meals. Auntie Anne's Pretzels is the only place in the building serving Coke. It is a combo with Baskin Robbins, the workers at both were friendly and helpful

Everything was wonderful except for the guests who were next door. There were several kids who made a lot of noise until 2am both nights of my stay. While Security did not address the issue to my satisfaction (after calling three times), the front desk staff made it up to me the next day. I felt the valet staff, front desk staff, and house keeping staff were so professional, courteous and efficient. Thank you! I will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at Green Valley Ranch. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of pillows. We had dinner and a movie and didn't get back to our room until midnight. We ordered room service dessert upon returning and received our cheesecake within 15 minutes. In the morning we had a great room service breakfast and then relaxed in the room with a two hour late check out. We 100% recommend this hotel and look forward to our next visit.

We went for the pool. It was completely shut down, emptied, and a mess. That is the center of the resort, and the best part of this property, normally. When booking, and prior to the stay, I was never notified that the pool would be closed. Even at the front desk at check-in, I asked what the pool hours are, and she avoided the situation, telling me the "pool" is open until 4pm. Turns out that was just "The Pond" which is the smaller pool, which is Adults Only. That, at least, would have been something for us to enjoy - except, it was absolutely packed with kids and families! There were no chairs outside in the sun, no chaise lounges, nothing. When we asked an employee if there was anywhere that we could relax in the sunshine (we're from Chicago, so 70 degrees was amazing), and she was baffled. I pointed to some artificial turf next to the spa, and asked if we could lie there, and she said yes. We grabbed two towels and laid on the ground. Not very relaxing, unfortunately, since someone was grinding with a table saw at the other end of the pool/spa. We were so looking forward to this escape, and it was so disappointing, that we didn't even stay overnight - we went back to the team hotel... ugh.

This hotel is terrible. Their staff is worse. We had to move rooms and the second room was not much better. Front desk did not care and told me that I was not the only person staying there. Valet was super rude. Plumbing issues, doors without locks, etc. It was just a terrible experience overall. I really wish we could have stayed on the strip, but we here for a special event. The property is super outdated. I could not get anyone to call me back or help me with our issues, no matter how many times that I tried. So disappointed. Travel is so expansive, I just expected more.

The resort is very beautiful and reason priced. It was a little tricky to find the hotels entrance though. The rooms were very clean, quiet
and comfortable. The TV wasn't easy to figure out. We never did but I am not very technical. Overall it was great. We had breakfast at the Lucky Penny which was good. We had drinks at the round bar and the lobby bar and everyone was very friendly and fast service.

On check in they did not have a room ready and we had to pay for an upgrade to get a room. As VIP I would think they would upgrade us. The room we upgraded to had a balcony with a view of the roof. They charge gratutites on room service so if you are not aware you end up paying it twice.
There is no charge for valet, only tips. Parking service was great. The resort is next to shops and dining in a nice location. Overall it was a pretty good place to stay.

The floor of the room was dusty and there were specks of dust everywhere. It seemed as though it had not been vacuumed. We were lead to believe that the floor and room was clean and had been updated. Our room was not updated nor had it had any renovation work done. I will not return. The girl at the counter was not welcoming nor was she serviced-oriented.

I love Green Valley Ranch resort and I love the shops at the district but we will stay at a different hotel next time. Our rooms fixtures had not been dusted for what must have been at least a year, so thick was the dust. It was like material. The skin and germs that must have been present is scary. We went to bed healthy and woke up wheezy. A day after we left hotel we both felt better. Also, I reserved a king room way in advance, and when we got there we were told there was only one king room left and it was at the end of a long hallway after coming to the end of another long hallway.
The journey to our room was ridiculous to say the least.

Loudness in hallway when trying to sleep like someone was partying right in the hallway and and door being knocked on twice by room service in the morning when we didn’t order room service

The staff is always good, but the rooms are outdated. Also, the shower constantly drips, which was an issue the last time we stayed. So they must not care. Also, the resort fee makes no sense when all the pool and spas are under construction and there is a constant rumble of a temporary pump.
