This hotel was fine aside from our specific room. We are a family of six, so we got a suite. Unfortunately this one was located directly above the front doors. It was very loud and woke everyone up throughout the night. Every time the doors opened the were loud thunks. A basketball team arrived around midnight - the bus itself was very loud, and we could distinctly hear every person wheeling their suitcase across the bricks driveway. In the morning we talked with the front desk person about our experience, and she said they always get complaints about that room. That was really disappointing to hear - the hotel is clearly aware that room has a major sound problem, but aren't doing anything to fix it. We didn't get a lot of sleep and had a long day of driving ahead of us. Again, overall the property seemed fine and we have happily used this hotel chain before. Just a really disappointing experience with this room. Please soundproof that front window or stop renting it out. It's impossible to sleep there.

Water pressure in the shower leaves something to be desired and the cold water dripping from the bathroom vent while showering wasn’t pleasant, but staff were friendly, room and hotel were very clean.

Check in was slow because the worker at the desk had trouble with the payment from Hotels.com. The pool area was a little sketchy and the hot tub was roped off with chairs and caution tape and had nasty brown water in the bottom of it. Breakfast was disappointing - they were out of milk and ran out of bacon. The pancakes were small and chewy. The rooms themselves seemed clean and well up dated. There was a good Mexican restaurant near by that was convenient. Our interactions with the staff were pleasant.

You should put slow shut fixtures on main doors so they shut quieter. I was awoken by many doors in the hall slamming shut

Rooms on east side are very loud day&night since it is next to a business intersection. Had to move to the west side to be able to sleep!

The property is nice. However don’t book the King Suites otherwise you could be disappointed for paying more for the room, and really not getting anything extra.
Room 326 was listed as a King Suite. But the room is the same as a regular room with a couch crammed in. The only difference is they made a closet behind the staircase. So there this tiny narrow room that’s only a walk in closet. The original closet has the empty mini fridge and some Kurig coffee supplies. The blinds were kinda broken when I got there too. I half fixed it.
The shower head was clogged spraying all over, should be replaced. There’s several details that could have been improved for the higher rates.
Disappointed that they charged me the highest rate for the room facing the noisy IOWA street.

Our room smelled good and was overall clean, but the next morning I did notice some small bugs on the floor and some cobwebs by the curtains. Breakfast was good, really liked the pancake machine. Staff was friendly, when we did arrive there were some guys with lawn chairs by the side entrance which looked like they weren’t guests at property and door was propped with a carpet but when we returned the carpet had been moved and door was properly closed/locked again.
