My toilet clogged and I called the front office for help with it. An employee knocked on the door and I answered to the dirty part of the plunger in my face.. I stepped back and softly said, Im disabled and I need your help with it please. There was a sungke ply of tp with a tiny blood spot from my finger prick earlier, no poop, no stink, no gross! It took 2 good pluges and shes out the door but made sure to slam it so hard that it triggered my ptsd and i reacted. I opened the door and asked her if slamming my door that hard was necessary, in a split second, she spun around and pointed her hand at me and said... "I just did you a favor and it slammed because your slider is open, she yelled, at the top of her voice, 30 feet away from me and said again, I just did you a favor and I dont cate what you think!!! Another guest came out and asked if I was ok and watched her continue to huff and puff at me. Not once did I yell at her but I did tell her that I didnt appreciate the door slam that resulted into her verbally attacking me because in her mind, shed dine me a favor, by plunging the hotels toilet, that I was a paying guest at.

When I first arrived my room smelled a little like bleach, but at least I knew it had at least been gone over before I arrived.
The bed was comfy, mini fridge worked, and the room it self was not bad. The location is a little ways away from the majority of downtown but a quick drive, just not within walking distance. The room got very hot! I had a little trouble with the AC but the manager on site was able to assist and get it going. The only bad thing I really have to add is that the people upstairs were a little loud but other than that if I needed a cheap place to crash for a day or 2, I'd probably stay here again.

Very comfortable bed, loved the giant mirror only thing was other guest were drunk in the hallways in the middle of the night. Its not the hotels fault but like a quiet time woulda been appreciated.

We arrived at almost 3pm
We waited for the room that the front desk assigned but it’s not ready. He gave us another room & The tub drain is not working & the toilet doesn’t flush & we are the one fixing it in the middle of the night. We’ve been checking in this hotel 2 times from the past & it was good but this time with new owner & new name & some major renovations it sucks..

Outside building not too attractive but room and hallway were nice. And jacuzzi. Only problem was room shower water was cold and hair dryer wouldn’t turn on. But other than that quiet area

Very friendly staff. Very nice hotel. The hot tub is amazing since it is surrounded by a tropical paradise and waterfall.

Overall a good place to spend a night or too. It’s an older property but recently renovated and nicely furnished. Good location- ask for a quiet room not facing the highway. Hundreds of dining options within 10 minute drive.

This hotel was okay. I say this because the bed was very uncomfortable, needs to be replaced. As well as the ac/heater unit.

Not sure where the information and pictures on this listing came from. I wanted to leave a review so others aren’t tricked the way we were. I thought we were at the wrong address when driving up to the property it was that bad! Biggest hint should’ve been the empty parking lot on a weekend where all the hotels in the area were booked. Landscaping was all dead, chain link fence around the unusable pool, windows were painted over and gross carpet in the hallway. I asked for a room with a king bed and was told I can’t switch because they were sold out (which is fine if that were true). Now for the room: Broken bedside table, old damaged curtains, very unsafe ledge outside the sliding door (rotted out!), toilet installed crooked, dirty floors, dirty mini fridge, old towels and sheets, metal bed frame so every time we rolled over it squeaked, no ice or vending, is there any insulation in this place? The good: large new tv (but old remote so we couldn’t use any of the features), mini fridge and microwave worked well, spacious room, large mirror with light ring, tons of parking, woman at check in was nice, looks like an attempted remodel possibly. I left our stay feeling really bummed about spending the amount of money we did on this over priced, unsatisfactory hotel :(. They’ve changed the name from Rose Garden Inn. Now, based on the reviews, I see why.

Really Disappointing reviews does not state conditions of hotel and how they have people that actually live in property with large pets they gave us a room directly above where it seem like they were arranging furniture at 11:00pm at night screaming out the window. we left property at 12:00am in the morning had to find somewhere else to stay. we did not feel safe in property. they told us the manager will call us back and they have not.

I guess it’s better than sleeping in your car.
No deadbolt. No shower curtain. Fridge didn’t work and was leaking all over the floor. We notified staff. Nothing changed. When we took a shower and water went all over the floor, we wiped it up. The white towels were brown from filth in the floor.
The sheets were pilled and bumpy. Only 1 overtaxed power strip.
I will not stay here again. Also - this room was $230/night. I would expect more for that. Gross.

We love this place. Beds are extremely comfortable and the spa is outstanding. Service is wonderful. We love to stay here when we come to the beach. Prices are reasonable and you forget you're right next to the highway. 4 stars!

Amazing hotel and the owner. Fulfilled all our needs and was always super polite. Will visit here again and again. Best stay for Pismo beach.

Re-modeled Hotel, in a decent commercial area. Hotel has a new modern look to rooms, with very comfortable beds and new lighting. Large, warm jacuzzi and clean pool. Plenty of parking. About 15 minute drive to University, Downtown, Shops and Beaches. Only problem was Keycards, apparently contact near cell phones removes their memory.

They never cleaned the room the whole time we were there. Then when I got my statement on my credit card, they charged me an extra hundred dollars because I said I damaged your room which I have no idea what you’re talking about when I asked about that they hung up on me call back up on me then they never answer the phone after that, I will never use this hotel again and maybe not use you guys again

A cleaner hotel with the necessities.
The vibe is a bit sketchy, with shady people hanging out in the parking lot and around the property.
Didn't necessarily feel safe. I checked out a few hours after check-in and ended up staying at a different hotel after I noticed someone peeking into my room.

This hotel had clean beds and towels. That’s really all it has going for it . It is extremely run down in terms of carpet , paint and finishes. The minimal upgrades have been done poorly with excessive mirrors. Overall it met our needs for one night but we were happy to leave. The lady at the desk was very nice.

All hotels should be required to post pictures of all possible rooms and current, daylight photos of the property - this place is a dump! The only highlight is the staff - very nice. I was willing to walk away from a paid two night stay for any other hotel. Stayed one night because I could not find another vacancy for that night and my car is not an option. It’s that bad! Honestly, disappointed that Hotels.com even lists this hotel because I thought they vetted hotels on their site. Kept my shoes on, went and bought towels and sheets to put over the bed and pillowcases, and kept my belongings in my car. I guess a few rooms are updated for photos, but the same nasty tattered curtains that were in my room could be seen in the window of most rooms. There is a reason this place is less expensive than most other hotels on big weekends for Cal Poly, it’s simply horrible! My photos don’t even do the ripped drapes, offset plugs, wrinkled sour-smelling linens, and filthy carpets - it’s gross. It would only take a small investment to clean these rooms up, but obviously owners only want to take advantage of CP SLO families and cash in on the short supply of rooms in the area.

…besides de construction that’s going on around the property everything else was AWESOME ! Front desk associate was very professional yet friendly, we’ll definitely come back.

This hotel is horrible. Dirty, old, sheets are super old, pillows are very uncomfortable, everything was crooked-toilet, light switches, wall light. I did not feel comfortable at all. I sleep in sweats and a hoodie, it just all felt very yucky and old and dated. Scratches on every surface.... DO NOT STAY HERE!
