I could not stay in the hotel … over booking by Expedia . Terrible experience at 11:00 pm when I arrive in the hotel and no room available despite reservation . Very disapointed

Overall, it was fairly good. The two not-so-good points were: (1) Shower drain was extremely slow, so one was in standing water the entire time they showered. (2) Breakfast buffet lacked any kind of meat, such as sausage or bacon, which we have had at other Hampton Inns.

Tiny Hampton Inn near the BDL airport. Dirty. Checked in at midnight after a long flight and had to be moved rooms bc the first had caked on filthy food scraps in the accessible room. Dirty shuttle. Unacceptable. Never again.

Our stay was very comfortable, the room was very nice and clean.

The breakfast was wonderful.
Weather protected and perhaps seated facilities for smoking patrons, separated from the main building should be considered. As it is, such patrons are consigned to stand outdoors near entrances. A rather small enclosed area separate from the hotel, would be a plus.

Desk staff did not know how to provide utensils after hours and suggested to go next door to BBQ place. I went to housekeeping and Jeremiah brought me over to breakfast area and got utensils for me.
Loved whirlpool, but sitting surface needs resurfaced as very rough and snags swimsuits and can scrape hands/feet

Check-in was very strange. The person who checked us in asked for information that all should have been available through our booking. The person insisted on seeing my partner's ID even though I made the reservation. I have booked dozens of hotels through Expedia and never had a check-in process like this.
The bed linens seemed to have been thrown together with whatever odds and ends were lying around. The ice bucket was wet, raising questions about cleanliness, and there were black specks in the ice, seriously suggestive of mold. At breakfast, the orange juice was extremely watered down. The plastic covers for the paper coffee cups did not fit, making any take-away coffee impossible. Overall, a wholly unpleasant stay. I would strongly not recommend.

We really enjoyed everything about this hotel and it helped us have such a great experience! We even got to bring our little fur babies for a fun family getaway and they loved it too - everyone felt right at home and both dogs were so well behaved was a nod to the great atmosphere! The breakfast was the tops! We just loved it!!

The Hampton Hartford Airport hotel is excellent. Loved the spacious clean room. Am so grateful for their shuttle from the airport on arrival and their shuttles to the Amtrak on departure. The two shuttle drivers are wonderful.

Room wasn’t ready even when I checked in two hours after check in arrival time. When they got a new room, walking in to the bathroom to a dirty bleach wash cloth hanging on the curtain rod. Hairs on the towels. Dirty floors. Do not recommend.

We came in very late because our flight was delayed and had no trouble checking in that late. The staff was very helpful and kind.

Very clean. Front desk staff friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast area has quite a few options. Something other than waffles. Hot breakfast, yogurt, mixed fruit, bananas, peanut butter, boiled eggs. Really nice.

The bed was very comfortable which was nice, but the Trash Can in our room still had trash from the previous occupant. Breakfast was okay, but condiments and silverware were hard to come by. Most of our party had to eat with a spoon as there were no forks to be found anywhere. Definitely not the worst place we’ve ever stayed, but far from the best.

We were in town for a wedding and the rooms were all spacious and clean. The kids loved the pool and complimentary breakfast. We asked for food suggestions in town and the front desk service was super helpful.

Had we known that there was construction being conducted we would have been better prepared. There was limited lighting at night when we arrived and all of the equipment took up a lot of spaces by the temporary entrance.

I didn’t have a vehicle for this visit and I appreciated that it wasn’t too far of a walk to find restaurants and a convenience store.
