Good facility but showing it’s age and needed a clean after we had been shown our room - mould needed cleaning on a damp wall for example Views from apartment are great you can ski in but not out - that’s about 100m uphil walk. Apartment is midway between Plagne centre and Plagne Village Overall a good apartment but not 100% - we’ve stayed in far more basic and lower cost but they get the basic right

This is a comfortable place to stay in a good location but I would not recommend it because it really doesn't live up to a 4 star rating. When we arrived we had to make our own beds using sheets and blankets that didn't fit the beds. The dishwasher flooded the kitchen on the first night and we were just given a load of towels to clean it up ourselves (but they did fix the dishwasher promptly the next day). There is a charge of 70 euros to clean the room at the end unless you are willing to clean to room yourselves to hotel standards. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful though. Just not sure how this is 4 star!!

We travelled to LaPlagne, two adults and two children (7&8) because of the resort altitude, good snow record and easy transfer from Chambery airport (90 minutes). Hire car from Chambery was reasonable and allowed us extra freedon in resort, Would recommend having a car for La Plagne as each of the resort areas are apart. The resort is good if you are there to Ski. Not much atmosphere and certainly not picturesque. Snow was great and Aspen Prestige appartments were great. Nice people, spacious apartment with all facilities. Paid extra for cleaning service (70 Euros) but you can opt to do this yourself. Swimming pool is good and heated but changing rooms not ideal (take a bath robe and flip flops so you make a dash back to your room. Placed to eat limited but the ones we tried were good (The Grizzly and La Spatule). Expect lots of cheese and meat in the area. Snow and great weather made the trip and would recommend the Aspen to anyone.
