Hotel San Gallo was nestled in a little piazza near San Marcos Square. It was a little hard to find (I would recommend using the waterbus transport system and going to S. Marco Giardinetti stop), but it was a lovely place to stay. The property was neat and gave us the old Italy feel that we wanted to experience. We were within a minute of San Marcos Square, the cathedral, and many other interesting attractions. There were numerous dining options nearby which we enjoyed as well. The air conditioning in the room was a bit underpowered, but that seems to be just how it is in Italy. The beds were comfortable and we truly enjoyed our time in Venice at this hotel.
