Location wise the Ilunion hotel is 15-20 minutes walk from the town centre. This needs to be factored in if you are spending time in the town. The beach is also similarly 15-20 mins walk away. Lots of cafes and restaurants in the SoHo area.
The property itself is clean and well maintained. It includes a pool and small fitness/spa area. We didn't have the hotel breakfast as there were alternative options nearby.
Overall, a solid option for exploring Malaga without being in the hustle and bustle of the town centre.

Bathroom fittings are looking rather tired. Clean but worn

It was a beautiful hotel. Looked very new. Everything was clean. I loved it. Only exception is I wish it was closer to all the stores and everything. It was about a 20-25 minute walk but they were very helpful. There were cabs everywhere. I probably wouldn't go to the beach right near the property. I would take a cab and go somewhere else

Room was spacious and clean, breakfast had plenty of options, good little gym, but the pool was a little on the cold side, no big deal, soon got used to it. Great stay.
