Pros:
Super cool concept with each room being an opera
Very central location - close to everything in Lucca
Clean room and nice shower
Cons:
AC exists but the room was still very hot in July
You have to leave your key with the front desk every time you leave
Only two pillows per room and pillows/blanket were itchy and uncomfortable

Of all of our hotels in Italy, this was by far the most grand for the value. We enjoyed made to order breakfast, great communication regarding parking and navigating the city, and incredibly kind and helpful staff. This was also the best air conditioning we found during the June heat wave, and we slept so comfortably!

The staff should give lessons to other hotels on hospitality. This hotel is an example of how guests like and want to be treated. Hospitality starts here. I plan to write to the manager to praise specific staff.

Wonderful charm and character not just the physical space but the staff. Wonderful experience. Loved that rooms had names rather than numbers. Would stay again and will recommend
