The mattress was hard. But overall great area and some very good restaurants around.

This is a fabulous old style hotel brought up to date in a really good location for Ortigia. The rooftop restaurant and terrace have a beautiful view and breakfast has a very large choice and is very good. The staff are extremely attentive and all seem to have the freedom to chat to guests like human beings and not "5 star robots". A welcome change.

A splendid, classic property with first rate service, comfortable beds and a glorious breakfast on a breathtaking outdoor terrace. Wish we could have stayed longer.
