I booked 2 rooms here last minute as we were traveling from Oaklahoma to Illinois and got tired. No exaggeration, this is the best hotel weve ever stayed in. It was modern & clean. Our rooms were spacious. The hotel staff, down to the handyman were very friendly. The breakfast bar had a nice selection. This family goves it an A+!

Not horrible, building is in good shape and not in a bad area, easy access to hwy. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. great TV the bad, shower leaked onto bathroom floor and you could see where they tried to fix this but it was bad. room had a damp smell, this went away for the most part as the AC ran but I suspect the leaking shower had to do with this.

Not sure who to give the bad report to. Hotels said separate bedroom. La Quinta doesn’t have that First room we checked into smelled like a locker room. Other room was better Also. Reservation said bathtub. But shower only. Again the third part app got blamed.

Hotel is going under renovation. Downstairs lobby area was very messy with uneven tile and dirt. Snack area was not stocked except for very few items. Walls were thin so I got woke up to ppl next door doing their "thing". Room was a good size and bed was comfortable. Most staff I encountered were nice. I took the shuttle from the airport to hotel and was taken to hotel a very indirect way that took twice as long as it should have. After a VERY long flight and dealing with airport, was the last thing I would have expected.

About half of the hotel was under construction. Nothing on the App saying that. Have to walk all he way from the front to the back because the front lobby doors are locked due to the front lobby being under construction, and there is very limited parking around back (which was constantly full, being used by construction workers staying on site). They worked up til 7 pm, and then cleaned up and most went out. A large group of them came back about 12:30 and then got loud and rowdy, running up and down the halls. Did this until about 3:30 in the morning. The hotel did nothing to try and control/stop it. Thought my room would be in the non-construction area. It was not. It was right in the middle of the construction actually. Room smelled of paint and burnt dust fumes,. The shower had some type of like wet plaster bits, or wet wood dust in it. The toilet wasn't flushing right every time... had to flush 2 or 3 times. And the room heater was not working with the thermostat. Had to turn it on manually, and then it kept overheating the room. Got up twice to turn it off, and then back on, later.

It was under construction and a mess. It was Super Bowl Sunday and they hadn’t paid the cable bills ( no joke) so no game. Ridiculous

They are undergoing renovations which is a good thing. My room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the toilet. When it flushed, it sounded like a jet engine. I could hear toilets in other rooms flush as well. I'm guessing they're water savers but would not have been my choice.

Flying out of Springfield was easy and being able to leave my car at La Quinta was great. I didn’t worry about my car. Having me dropped off and picked up at airport was great. Thank you for everything

Screaming and yelling in the hallway all night. Felt unsafe. Will NEVER stay there again. Staff did not do anything about it. Police should have been called.

The layout of the room we stayed in was unique and very family friendly. Room was clean. Except for barking dog next door it was also quiet. Lovely experience.

We arrived really early and the front desk gentleman, Tim said he would ask housekeeping to clean our room. We had a couple people who weren’t feeling well. He said he would call me when the room was ready. Within an hour he called. Tim was very nice and courteous.

Our room had bed bugs. Management moved us but their was a lack of empthany or even attempt to smooth out the situation. The second room shared a wall with the laundry department. In the morning, we heard a thumping and shaking of the wall throughout the morning. At checkout, I discussed my stay and the front desk guy brushed it off as nothing. Yup, super fun stay

Overall LaQuinta was good. However the employee checking us in was coughing and sounded sick, we were told she wasnt. When asked if we would koke someone else to check us in we said yes and the employee seemed offended. Please dont have an employee who is sick or appears to be sick working. It wasnt great to have someone coughing while assisting you.

I ordered a non smoking room, and had to sign waiver not to smoke or be fined, but the room smelled lousy when you walked in, sprayed Frebreeze and that wouldn't even cut the odor. Smelled like a pile of old dirty jock straps.

Good hotel! Bit outside of Springfield so expect 10-15 minute drive anywhere. Our room smelled a little musty and the air conditioner was definitely not working 100% right. It was November but very warm outside for this time of year. The air was okay if we cranked down to 65. If it was a hot July/august day there would have been no way we could have stayed in the room. The breakfast was very very good! The staff was very kind and helpful. The pool and hot tub and exercise room was great. The hotel is about to go through a remodel/renovation so I’m sure it’s going to get an update. Overall we liked it and would stay again if the price was right.
