Beautiful and convenient location. Staff were super friemdly and helpful!

Quiet comfortable clean room in city center, only a two block walk to many restaurants and the city lake park.

The location is great. Room was small but adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It does cost extra to park and for the pet but I knew that in advance thanks to other reviews.

Was pleasantly surprised how modern and clean the hotel was. We had an infant with us but forgot to bring our pack n’ play. The hotel had one on hand that was nearly new for us to use. Also very accommodating for my interview that was right at checkout time. I was allowed an extra two hours for the time conflicting. I was very pleased with my stay!

Stayed here because it was very close to the downtown core and a lot of good restaurants. Not the fanciest place, but clean and adequate for the right price. It had everything we needed to get by. Lots of coffee, a microwave, fridge and the bed was pretty comfortable. Staff was very nice, but they do close the office at 7pm and open at 11am., but they are available for emergencies by phone.

The only complaint I had was the office doesn’t open until 11, so I was unsure how to check out.

We really enjoyed the personal touch and how clean the room was. It's not the fanciest place, but very comfortable and relaxing.

Good little hotel. Parking fee is kinda silly. Add it in when you figure costs.

Other than the parking fee this was by far the best motel I’ve stayed at. It’s on the same street as all the good restaurants and shops, perfect.

Would have liked someone to be available in am before check out. Office opened at 11 am. Earlier morning hours would have been nice. Maybe by 8 or 9 am.

A decent location in town, room was pretty basic and older but fine for a night. Biggest complaint here is the noise, you can everything from the people above you and next you (both sides) Paper thin wall and floors.

The only plus was the location.
We booked for 3 nights and left after 2.
The beds were so uncomfortable. Lamp shades were dusty and broken. Bathroom door latch did not work so the door wouldn’t shut. There was no fan in the bathroom. Room door would get stuck when locked. Twice we panicked almost unable to get the door open.
The room ceiling fan was so dusty when we turned it on dust flew everywhere.
Maid left cleaning supplies in the room.
Like I said convince of location and cost was the only plus side. I would not stay here again. Better to spend a bit more.

I wasnt happy with the rock hard bed or the fact that staff wasn't available when i called at 3 am because of obnoxious and destructive people in the room next door. Left a day early because of it all. Sad that it won't be refunded

Motels usually have a bad reputation but I would stay here over a lot of hotels in a second! The beds were comfortable, it was very clean and the lady at the front desk was so kind!

The staff at Resort City Inn was extremely helpful and friendly, with a level of courtesy not even found at 4-5-star hotels these days. From the kind front desk gentleman to the cleaning staff, this motel made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We even received housekeeping without having to ask, and at check in, Lacy asked if we needed anything else to made our stay pleasant. We requested a few extra pillows and blankets, which were promptly delivered. The room was basic, but comfortable and functional and in good repair. While the room was nothing fancy, the shower water pressure was excellent! Really good to get those knots in your back out. And the towels were surprisingly soft. And we managed to get the room at only $90/nt. Wow! We'll definitely stay here again, even though unfortunately there is now a $12/day parking fee. Location is great, right on Sherman and only a brisk 10 minute walk to the resort/lake. (On another note: Resort City Inn may want to check with hotels.com, which for some reason charges an extra person fee above 2 on its rooms. Front desk said they do not personally do that.)

Perfect for those on business and/or spending time exploring. Ideal location and friendly staff. Exceptionally clean and well stocked with toiletries and coffee! Everything operated as it should; best water pressure I’ve ever had in a hotel, mini fridge was ice cold and heater kept me toasty.

There was no person at the office when I arrived around 8pm eventhough it states the office is open until 9pm. There were instructions regarding getting into my room.
This is an older motel with carpets that smelled of ckesning shampoo. Bathroom and the room was clean and comfortable.
There is no 24/7 security.
No breakfast.Office does not open until 10am. I left and place key in drop box.

The hotel does not disclose that you have to pay $12 for parking in their lot nor that if you get a “makeup stain” on towels or sheets they say it is room damage and charge you as well. It is old, damaged and uncomfortable rooms and they are looking to put in extra charges wherever they can. I would not recommend.

My first couple of stays here were great and left a good impression I me because I saw that there was good upkeep and it was very clean.
This last stay left me wondering if I should come back again for a down turn in these two areas:(

I really enjoyed my stay. I wish there was not an additional charge for parking. But staff is wonderful! Location hard to beat!

We liked the location, but parking lot was very tight and cost $12 per night. Office personnel were courteous, but there was very limited office access.

A very nice basic motel in close proximity to everything you need.

It was such a cool little spot. Loved the front desk customer service from both night and morning attendants. The room was very clean. The beds could be more comfortable. They feel like older spring beds that don’t have a lot of life in them or are cheap beds. Other than that even the cute hand written note wishing our stay well was a great little touch. The guests were even all friendly. Nice little spot.

We enjoyed our stay at Resort City Inn. It is a perfect location for being able to walk to the downtown area, the lakefront area and Tubbs Hill Park and McKeun Park.

It is simply motel, name only inn.

Overall the stay was okay. It was more of a motel than an inn. Access for each room is from the outside. For the price it was super expensive (320.00 +per night 8/18/23) and not comfortable. Woke up with a sore back. I will not stay here again, especially at that price!

Parking is tight and you are charged extra when you check in. Our toilet chain was broken so I had to mcGyver it. Room was clean, bed comfortable, and after the street noise stopped at midnight we slept.
4.0
Proximity to restaurants and waterfronts
