The room was small but comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ample and varied.
The last morning, I needed to get from the hotel to the train station and asked the staff on duty to reserve a private water taxi (small boat) for me. He told me that it would be 105 Euros and that I needed to pay the hotel that amount in cash. I didn't have an alternative, so I gave him 105 Euros in cash. I'm virtually certain that the real cost was less and that he pocketed a good percentage of that amount. When the time came for me to go, he did help me with my suitcases to the boat.

Wonderful hotel and staff. Breakfast was great and satisfying and suited all in our party of travellers. Close to main shopping and a short trip via water taxi to the station.

Location excellent. Friendly staff.
Nice breakfast, although more fresh fruit and vegetables would improve it.
Rooms were very tired and old fashioned. Bedding horrible- old blankets in the bed. No duvet.
Bathroom amenities- no hair conditioner.
