This was a great stay! The reception team were so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great and kept on being replenished and good selection as well. Very central and would absolutely stay again next time I’m in Edinburgh.

Slight problem with our first room (smell) , but another room arranged quickly without a fuss.
A little tip for your staff…. They shouldn’t really be bad mouthing other members of staff in front of customers, it’s very unprofessional.

Room small but fine for two single ladies for weekend stay. Room newly refurbished. Lovely. Staff very helpful and friendly. We would stay again. Location fabulous.

Location and the bar staff are the only good things.
Front staff are usually not welcoming, below average breakfast (when things finish they don’t reply… my wife needed to enter in the kitchen to ask for more plates as nobody was checking the breakfast zone) and bed is very hard (worth sleep on the floor if not super dirty).
TP is also terrible, the cheapest you can find at Aldi.
Stay on the Travelodge, Ibis budget or the normal “red” one as you can save some money.
Anyway, just letting this to other fellow travelers as I’m pretty sure this hotel management doesn’t give a dart (as it seems super busy regardless) and will just copy/paste that default message thanking me for this review and telling they’ll improve…

The staff was super helpful & we were able to stow our luggage prior to checking in which was tremendous! Definitely recommend!!

stayed for weekend - so, on the plus side - hotel was in a great location and also very clean and tidy
Room itself clearly had a funky vibe, but and the very big but is the mattress was rock hard, and i was not able to sleep for 3 nights - sleeping on the floor might have been more comfortable - also a huge sink in the bathroom but then no where to really put stuff like a shelf or towel rail, but shower itself was good - but i would not return mainly in view of the awful mattress

We have stayed in an Ibis in Slough and vowed never again. I have to say, this one was just so nice, staff so helpful. The room was not cramped, the en-suite was a perfect size ( unlike the one in Slough). The decor was beautiful and the breakfast was just perfect. Will definitely return without hesitation. ☺️

Very small rooms for the price you can get something bigger and better contractors working above my room since 7am couldn’t get enough sleep

Really enjoyed our stay in this quirky hotel. Excellent staff with a can-do attitude - very helpful. Do not change anything within the breakfast offer.

My first time at an IBIS Styles and I was immediately reminded of the Moxy chain I have often used. Youthful and contemporary styling in the reception lounge area was nice, although checking in at a bar stool and laptop right outside the elevators made for a cramped and jostled experience, albeit with friendly and welcoming staff. Room, bathroom, shower and bed were spacious for the price and clean. Breakfast was good cold continental, tho seating was cramped. Location is good for rhe airport tram and mainline railway station as well as Newtown sights and sites. Recommended

Only issue was the noise of the wind howling in the window all night. The window maybe needs resealed?

This hotel was in an excellent location, a modern quirky design and the staff were great. Only negative point was the price of alcohol it was very expensive.

A basic hotel for a night. Room isn’t big as expected. Within minutes of walking to main street but is quiet.

Our room had a bad smell, wifi did not work for one day and breakfast area poorly laid out and over crowded.

Needed a quick stay for one night in Edinburgh at short notice, staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the room was clean, well stocked and very comfortable with every amenity. The breakfast included in what was already an affordable price was also super and did not disappoint. Wether staying one night or a few this is definitely somewhere I’ll come back to !!

Stayed for 4 nights, excellent location just a short walk to Waverley station, restaurants & shops. Would definitely stay there again.

The location is the best, just 1 block from the airlink, a mall near, a lot of restaurants near and also near the rental cars.
The staff really professional and helpful.

Great hotel. Lobby was very welcoming and staff were lovely and couldn't do enough. Breakfast was perfect and nice to have that included.
Only complaint is the bathroom looked really tired. Tile grouting was quite dirty and could do with a refresh.

The location of Ibis Edinburgh was readily accessible by public transportation ( across St Andrews square from airport tram, welcoming exterior and very helpful staff, and superb breakfast daily: fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, boiled eggs, bagels and country bread with jams, butter, cream cheese with Scottish smoked salmon, cold cuts, salad and a coffee machine providing lattes in a sunlit salon. What could be better?
Rooms were small but who cares? Bed was comfortable and shower pressure were very good.
I would highly recommend this accommodation.
