It's an OK place to stay if you're planning to spend most of your time elsewhere (which we did). The building has a post-communist, workers' hotel vibe - functional, beige/brown and zero luxury. The room was clean enough, apart from several patches of dust, smudged windows and the kitchen area where the wallpaper was splattered with grease. The kitchen was quite well equipped though and the beds were fine. The bathroom seemed in need of a refresh (peeling paint). Having access to washing machines / dryer was useful. Very good location - a supermarket downstairs, walking distance from the train station and the Sibelius Hall.

To wash the dishes, you need to wash them in the bathroom sink with a brush and dish soap. The photos of the apartment are much nicer than the actual space. However, the room is very clean and contains the rest of the items I consider necessary.

The kitchenette was handy. Rooms had everything and the hotel was conveniently located.

10 / 10Outstanding·Aug 2025

I had a great experience here. The beds were comfortable and everything felt clean. It attempted at having a kitchen in a hotel style room which I was grateful for the refrigerator, microwave and the utensils. I was surprised they require that you take your own trash out and there doesn't seem to be anyone working there, I guess besides the cleaning staff. I had read some negative reviews on Google but after staying here, they must have stayed in a different style room or something.

Property was renovated older building but was generally in good condition. Biggest drawback was no onsite staff. No one to answer questions or provide information. Outside of building very rundown but interior much better. Rate was good, but i had a rooftop view of pipes etc. Air conditioning ineffective on unseasonably warm week. Very quiet and plumbing quiet as opposed to U.S. hotels, a very nice change. With some exterior cosmetic upgrades and onsite staff it would get a much better review. Convenient to restaurants and groceries. Easy motorway access. Overall a good value.
