A warm welcome to our beautiful Chalet Blümlein. Nestled in the picturesque setting of Reit im Winkl, the chalet is located at the foot of the Hausbach, just a few minutes’ walk from the town center, with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. Our lovingly furnished home offers 210 m² of space for up to 8 people (maximum 7 adults). Decorated in a cozy Alpine style, the underfloor heating ensures comfortable warmth even on cold days. Next to the garage, you’ll find a charger for your electric car. We look forward to welcoming you to our chalet.
The entryway features a coat closet and a small compartment with a ski boot warmer. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms (1 double bed, 1 bunk bed, 1 single bed with a pull-out bed), a bathroom, a reading/TV room, a sauna with a walk-in shower, and a laundry room. The attic features another bedroom with an en suite bathroom (shower and bathtub), as well as a large open space with a cozy sofa area and TV, an open kitchen, a large dining table, and an expansive panoramic window. There is also a guest restroom here. From the spacious loggia on the top floor, you have a magnificent view of the Zahmer Kaiser and the Wilder Kaiser mountains and can enjoy your time there, sheltered from rain and cold. There are also 5 additional balconies, each offering a different view of the Reit im Winkl area. Next to the garage is a charging station for your electric car.
Reit im Winkl: A Climatic Health Resort According to Wikipedia, the designation “climatic health resort” is awarded to “towns and villages whose air and climate, according to an expert assessment, possess qualities that are beneficial to health and relaxation.” Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and has consistently met the criteria for this designation through its ongoing efforts ever since. One key factor is its high elevation, which ensures that summer heat is moderated and nights remain pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is largely determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valleys on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions that ensure good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air by utilizing natural heat and providing ample bus service.
