But even otherwise, the beach is only a 3-5 minute walk away.
The large, quiet garden, barbecue, beach chair, and other amenities provide the perfect setting for a family vacation or a relaxing getaway for two.
The supermarket and bakery are about 600–700 meters away.
A 3–5-minute walk takes you to the beach with its long promenade featuring many restaurants, ice cream shops, and boutiques, as well as lovely playgrounds for the little ones. You’ll also find the Strand-Spa wellness oasis here. The spa gardens and nearby recreational forest are also just a short distance away.
You can take a relaxing hike or bike ride through the shady forest all the way to Kellenhusen or Süssau. Many other activities in the area await you, such as Hansapark Sierksdorf, marine aquariums, the children’s zoo in Grömitz, and much more.

We’ve come to know and love Dahme at every stage of life—whether for active vacations involving windsurfing, biking, and hikes along the dikes and through the woods, or simply to relax in the sun and by the sea, completely at ease in a beach chair.
We feel just as at home here with young children as we do as retirees.
For families, there’s everything from mini-golf to trampolines, go-karting, a skate park, tennis, and more, along with a rich cultural and family program.
In town and along the beach promenade, there are great shopping options, cafés, and restaurants to suit every taste, budget, and time of day.
The surrounding area also has plenty of nature and adventure opportunities to offer.
