We loved our stay, the terrace was amazing, we spent lots of time in the mornings and late at night drinking wine. Facilities are excellent, lovely helpful host. We would highly recommend. Just remember if you want a high view, you need to climb to get to the view.

Room was very clean and spacious. Enjoyed the small balcony. Breakfast was great. Great service. Appreciated the early checkin and storage of luggage. The only issue was that I was given incorrect access code for building but received a prompt response to the issue. Quiet location. Definitely recommend. Mini refrigerator was great.

Loved our stay. Loved the town. Close to everything. Host was very friendly and helpful. Loved the area. Cinque Terre is beautiful.

We loved the location just above Main Street as well as the friendly staff and personnel at the property.

We loved the view from our room, right in front of the sea. The room was super clean, environmental friendly, and walkable. Breakfast was served through a local restaurant which was 15 min walking from the hotel itself with great 2 options for omlette, orange juice and a cup of coffee of your choice. The only issue was that there was no safebox in the room and we had to leave our passports (which the manager ensured us it is a very safe town). Just have it in mind that if like us you travel with big luggages, the taxi service in town is not very great and you may need to carry your luggages to the top of the hill :D Great exercise for me... Iadored the cats in the balcony of our room...

Le Giare Rooms was simply perfect. From the very start, we were impressed by their willingness to stow our luggage many hours before check in. From check in to check out, Viola was incredible - she provided an introductory "lay of the land" that included recommendations for everything from transportation to wine bars. She was so kind and responsive! Our room was clean, spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Bonus: Le Giare did not have many stairs to climb compared to many other accommodations in Cinque Terre. The gem of this property was our balcony that had the most magical view of the buildings and the sea. Watching sunsets here was unforgettable. The property location is quite convenient to access, as it is right off of the main road in Riomaggiore - only a short walk to restaurants/shops but tucked away enough to be peaceful and quiet. Lastly, we really enjoyed the free breakfast each morning at Bar Stazione - this was a really wonderful touch included in our stay. Thank you to Viola and the Le Giare team for providing top notch accommodations! We will be back :)

I had a lovely stay here! Beautiful location. The staff was so helpful. I arrived in the morning and they made sure that someone was there to check me in early.

We booked here for the view and we were NOT disappointed. Communication from the property could have alleviated alot of issues with arrival (how to avoid many stairs, time to drop off bags etc). Staff only avaialble for an hour ot two in the later afternoon. Breakfast option not acceptable IMO - too far and very poor service there..need a closer option like Old School for imporived experience. But again - the view is worth it.

Very clean, great location close to everything but just far enough away to be quiet. Good size room and friendly staff.

Beautiful place. Owner is thoughtful and helpful and helped us arrange our Covid tests before departure. Love cinque terre.

The hotel is located in the center so close to many shops and restaurants.
The staff were ever so accommodating and pleasant.
Highly recommend staying there.

This place was amazing! My boyfriend and I treated ourselves to a room with a view and it was spectacular. The balcony was huge and we watched the sunset over the Mediterranean every night. The rooms were quiet at night and in the morning, and it felt like we were the only ones staying there. The complimentary breakfast was also delicious. The breakfast is prepared down at a restaurant near the train station, which was a perfect way to start the day. I am so glad we picked this spot for our vacation!

Great experience and perfect location.

Fabulous view and comfortable stay. It should be noted that you will have to be able to navigate some steep hills and stairs to stay here but the trek is paid off by a wonderful view and lovely place to stay.

Great place with amazing view. Great place for romantic getaway!

Here is why I was very disappointed:
1) I have to park my car about half a mile away and drag my luggage uphill ( extreme slope to the hotel). No one to help and Parking was $35/ day
2) Breakfast was half a mile away from the hotel near the train station
3) no one on duty for most of the day
4) I advise travelers to stay in Genoa and just visit Cinque terra for 1 day by train.

Beautiful room. Exactly as pictured with a spacious bath. Its a hike to the hotel but so is everything in Cinque Terre. This gem is worth it. I highly recommend the room with the terrace-beautiful view of the sea and town.

Big balcony, view was great from balcony, have to hike up hill and stairs to get to room.

Amazing location with a wonderful balcony we enjoyed every afternoon after a day of walking and exploring. Away from the crowds but still close to the action. I would definitely go back.

Terrific views. the walk to the hotel from the train station is a little hard but worth it. It was very quiet no one to bother you, but it would be nice if they have a front desk person at all times to help with questions. The location is great and the area is very nice for hikes.

We were actually put up in another place because the booking got messed up. The replacement room was stellar with excellent view and everything we needed.

Beautiful view from my private terrace patio. Close to restaurants and grocery store to bring back food and enjoy on the patio. Large room and modern bathroom.

Great view and terrace to sit out on. And for Riomaggiore, easy access, no stairs to get to it, we easily pushed our suitcases there from train station. Breakfast was down at shops, 3 min walk, basic but fine. Room also had tea making facilities which was fantastic.

Room was very clean and comfortable. In very close proximity to many shops and areas to sightsee in Riomaggiore (the building itself is just off the main strip, overlooking it). There was no entirely clear view of the ocean (at least not from my room), but the view was still good.Complimentary breakfast at a local coffee shop about 2 minutes down the main road was appreciated.Staff were friendly and very accommodating.Would recommend!

Beautiful room & incredible check in. We had a terrace to watch the sunrise from and the owner left complimentary Prosecco in the room for us.

The parking was $35 a day which was the highest in all of Italy. You must carry all luggage more than 1/2 a mile up and down uneven street.

The view is great, but it feels like everything else rides on that.
Tv didn't work.
One of the rooms has an amazing balcony, not sure whether the others really have a view.
Parking is €35 and quite a walk, especially with luggage.

Actually didn't stay here, we had booked through Expedia and it was double booked for the first night. Worried about finding somewhere on short notice, the manager on site made a couple phone calls and within 5 minutes he was walking us to another hotel for our 2-night stay. From what we experienced, and the look of the hotel from the few minutes we were there, I'm sure it's a great place to stay. For anyone looking to stay in Riomaggiore, be aware that most places are quite difficult to walk to if you have rolling luggage. Definitely more of a backpack friendly location - if you need big luggage find a place in Monterrosso. Great views of the ocean if you can get the sea-view room!
