very comfortable stay at a well run hostel.

This hostel is well run. The six bed dorm was very comfortable. It had AC, light, electrical outlet and curtains. It made for a very comfortable sleep. The staff were very helpful and remembered my name for the whole stay(nice touch). I enjoyed a couple of the tours through the hostel. The location is also very good.

The hostel was struggling with some of the evening activities. I am not one to really participate in evening hostel activities so I it was not a negative issue for me. Overall it was a great stay.

Camas y almohadas súper cómodas. Todo estaba súper limpio y para el desayuno ofrecen varias opciones que preparan al momento Muy bien ubicado al lado de los sapos y súper cerca de la plaza principal

Definitely recommended

Best hostal I’ve ever stayed, big rooms, great breakfast with many sections, good common area, was soooo comfortable to spend a few days!! Location was good, few minutes walk from centro. The staff all spoke good English which was rare for Mexico😬

Me gusto mucho la hospitalidad con la que te reciben.... trato amable. La habitación se notaba muy limpia.... Con toda la confianza de dejar mis cosas

La habitación demasiado caliente... y el aire acondicionado no enfriaba lo suficiente además de hacer ruidos raros. Las camas a pesar de estar limpias, sus almohadas son o muy altas o muy bajas y muy duras... amanecí con dolor de cuello

Perfect for both a young woman and her 50-something mom!

I had a bit of concern that this might be too much of a party hostel for me (but fine for my 19 yr old daughter). It was actually perfect for both of us. Very social, but the activities were geared to any age (and they had a good mix of different ones). Staff was so friendly and helpful, and there is a decent restaurant attached if needed, although there are many great restaurants in the area also. The hostel is in a prime location for sightseeing and shopping. I would definitely choose this place for accommodation again.

Perfect place to stay in Puebla City, great location, super staff and great facilities!

Casa Pepe is in a perfect location for access to the main city center, markets, shops and food! The star was incredibly nice and really can help you (like advice on how to get to the ADO station directly for only 8 pesos!-Thanks Julian). The decor was really nice and very enjoyable to use. Perfect, wifi - a number of outlets, a chess set, Pac Man - even a Bitcoin ATM?!, seating areas everywhere - really nice! The bed modules are also perfect with the shelving, sockets, bed light, and storage. A very nice comfy comforter too. Everything was super clean :-)

Only on tiny thing - at times the room temperature was freezing! (and dim light) so not that inviting to go into the room for more than an errand or to sleep at night. I was worried that I would be cold at night but I was not! The temperature through the night seemed fine and the comforter was perfect.

Top notch rooms, nice common areas and great location in a very pleasant historic area

Great breakfast with fruit juice, coffee, fruit plate and eggs, which was included in my booking price, but not for everyone (I'm not sure why.) We never ordered food at other times of day. There was always free purified water available. The street is quiet and very atmospheric, , partly for pedestrians only, and a pleasant short walk past nice trees and plazas to the Zocolo. It is easy for a taxi to drop off and pick up at. Huge comfortable clean room with air conditioning and comfortable bed. Small kitchen available for cooking and storing food.

The lady manager accused me (82 years old) of stealing a young man's bag.

The lady in the kitchen (Mari) was very helpful.

A guy who had the bunk bed above mine (a guy that I did not see using the bunk, even at night) left all his things in the bunk enclosure, instead of putting them in one of the available lockers. His bag (a man's shoulder bag, I think) went missing, and (when he actually appeared in the dormitory - the first time I had seen him), he accused me of taking his bag. I had four suitcases of luggage that I had brought from Costa Rica (where I had been stuck for three years because of border closures), so the last thing I needed was more things, especially not a man's shoulder bag. Nevertheless, the manager wanted to blame someone, so she did not have to pay for the lost bag (which the guy should have put in a locker, if it was special property). So the manager demanded that I pay her 500 pesos, for the bag, or she would call the police. So I left, and my 100 pesos (deposit for the room scanning card) was not refunded. I am 82, and I have stayed in hundreds of hostels (in many countries), but that incident at Casa Pepe was my worst experience in a hostel, ever.

If you come with a car the parking is around the corner but it’s in a way you have to make a long loop across a lot of tricky streets to get back around to it on a very busy boulevard. You have to unload your luggage first and it’s very dicey not to get hit on the street. Valet would be much appreciated even if it costs money.

Superb

The hotel is very well designed, resembles very much the European hotels and is quite different from the Mexican ones. The room was very big and comfortable. The location is great, right in the middle of everything. The breakfast is also very good, offering various options to choose between.

The water was warm but not hot, so I was not able to take a shower. The wi-fi was very unstable. When we were packing our luggage to leave the hotel I noticed a bug on the bed, which turned out to be a small scorpion.

Literally perfect. Highly recommend.

I have no dislikes, it was our favorite hotel. There is no kitchen yet, but they are building one.

Staff are really welcoming and friendly. Great location east to walk to all the main location.

Breakfast is not included as listed. I saw some review talked about it but they still show free breakfast somehow.
