Autentické ubytování, které stojí za vyzkoušení.

Skvělí hostitelé, parádní peřiny, fungující wifi, tma na spaní, onsen od 5:30 ráno. Večeře a snídaně podávané tradiční formou (sedí se na zemi). Stačil by jeden den s polopenzí, dva dny za sebou máte téměr identická jídla.

Futony trochu tvrdší na spaní a sprchy ve formě sprch u onsen bazénů.

There were spare mats which was good for us as one sleeping mat wasn't enough. We wanted to try sleeping the Japanese way so was grateful for extra mats. Everything Japanese was great. A nice place to try doing our first Japanese way. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. Needed to stay another night, it was no issue.

Exceptional

Very close to Hida no sato and a few minutes from Takayama station. The rooms are spotless and the attention to the customer is impeccable. The Onsen (one male and one female) of an excellent standard. We had the opportunity to have dinner and breakfast at the property. Great food and impeccable presentation. We also used the shuttle service (kindly provided even outside the established time). Truly impeccable services.

Nice stay in Takayama, with a small spa area

A very nice ryokan with a decent onsen. Recommend trying their breakfast menu (for an additional fee) as it was very tasty and offered a nice intro to traditional Japanese eating. The ryokan is a bit further away from the city (around 2 km), but very close to the Hida Folk Village where you can get a bus to the city center during the Village's opening hours.

Great.

Excellent value for money. Staff was very nice, room was great, the only downside is the shared bathroom. Onsen was nice to have, breakfast was quite good, location is great for the Hida Folk Village but slightly suboptimal for Takayama proper - but better than most in the area, anyway.

Outside onsen was sort of small, and somewhat less warm than would be ideal.

Good, simple stay

Good cheap stay for 2 nights. If you have a car this is a good place to stay but it is far out of town for those without a car. The rooms were simple and we paid to have dinner/breakfast there. The bath was good however the outdoor bath was way too hot to use. Overall it was a good stay.

One of the best value for money I stayed in.

The room is clean. The bath is better than the previous place I stayed in. The wash rooms and toilets are clean. The staff were very courteous and accommodating. The location is great if you have a car because every essential spots are less than 5 minutes drive.

They should check on the men’s toilet on the first floor because the washer didn’t work.

Lovely stay in snow paradise

very cosy ryokan with inside onsen + outside rotemburo the room was big with tea and cookies copious breakfast for 1000yen possibility to be driven to the train station by the staff be sure to ask for the waku waku coupon! : 6000 yen per Customer (3000 only for Japanese) for experiences provided (period: 2021.12.1-2022.3.13)

a bit far from takayama station (30min by walk) futon were a little thin

It is rather far from the center or even convenience stores, so getting food or snacks can be troublesome
