Our farm is picturesquely situated on a hill at an elevation of 680 meters, offering a view of the magnificent mountain landscape of the Berchtesgadener Land in a secluded location. The panoramic view stretches from the Kehlstein over the Watzmann to the Hochkalter—a view that fills us with gratitude every day. Ramsau and Berchtesgaden are five km away; you can reach Königssee in about 15 minutes, it takes roughly 40 minutes to get to Salzburg, and the border with Austria is also very close. Our farm offers you a farm stay and an exclusive experience in a dreamlike, unspoiled, secluded setting. We offer our guests a daily bread roll delivery service. For great coffee, you’ll find a Jura fully automatic coffee machine with fresh beans from a small local roastery. There’s plenty to discover in every season, and preserving local traditions is still a top priority here in our region.
The Abendstern vacation rental, measuring approximately 62 square meters, accommodates up to 4 people. The cozy, well-furnished apartment features a spacious east- and south-facing balcony with patio furniture, perfect for spending time outdoors. It includes one bathroom and two bedrooms with double beds (a fold-out bed for a fifth person is available upon request). We recommend that our guests leave their cars behind for now and explore our beautiful mountain region on foot. For example, during a hike up the “Toten Mann” and back via the Götschenkopf. In the summer, we love our natural swimming spot, the Aschauerweiher in Berchtesgaden—also ideal for families with children. A trip to Königssee with a boat ride to Sankt Bartholomä is really a must. The massive cliffs drop straight down into the deep lake. The entire Bavarian Forest National Park—Germany’s only Alpine national park—is worth a visit in every season, with its flora and fauna, the “Haus der Berge,” and guided hikes. And for those who enjoy a bit of culture and city life, a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Salzburg is a must.
