About this house rental
Secluded home on a Guadalupe River canal centrally located to the Central Texas activities. Popular with large groups such as family reunions and retreats. Also works well with smaller families. Activities include private pool, river, canoe, pool table and basketball court. Large backyard. Unlimited parking. Works well with wheelchairs. The canal is wide enough and deep enough for a boat. Fish off the bank or in the canoe. NOTE: river is currently low while they work on the dam. Pet fee $95. The 4400 square foot house has 7 bedrooms and 4 full size bath and sleeps 20 people. Built in 2013. All rooms are on the ground floor except for 2 bedrooms and a bath. The living room is larger than average. Located 9 miles from New Braunfels, 4 miles outside Seguin and 22 miles to San Antonio. Area activities include Schlitterbahn, Sea World, ZDT, Fiesta Texas, San Marcos Outlet Mall, San Antonio Riverwalk, San Antonio zoo and the Alamo.

Upstairs bedding was not clean. A hoodie was found in a bed between the sheets. We had to repair the shower head in long skinny shower. Back door unlocked when we arrived. I’m we liked the arrangement of the house, kitchen good.good location. Thank you

We had a bunch of family stay here for a wedding that was nearby. We didn't use the pool, and the creek was really low because of construction up at the dam, but the house took care of our needs just fine. I would happily stay again.

Rented this location for family Tuesday for my youngest son‘s wedding. The place is very large and somewhat deceiving from the front view of the home. You will be so pleased with how much space the swimming pool is amazing. The fire pit in Grill area is beautiful. The only downfall is the driveway to the home has significant potholes and Uber eats and other delivery agencies really struggle to find the location. Beautiful experience.

Eight senior lady friends spent three nights and we had a blast. Almost all of us had a room to ourself. Would definitely book a future stay here.

The property was just what we were looking for. The house was clean with lots of space. The pool was clean and well kept. It was somewhat secluded which was very nice. The host communicated quickly with our questions and was very accommodating. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Our family really enjoyed the pool. The house is nicer than the pictures show!

The reason for giving two stars and not one is because the host refunded the cleaning deposit. Three of our family members ended up with rashes from the dirty bedding. It could be a nice place for large families if it were properly cared for. Not worth the money as is

We had a wonderful time at this property! It was very clean and spacious and everything was provided for us besides laundry detergent. The pool area was nice and clean and the patio had many chairs for plenty of seating. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and dinnerware. I definitely would recommend this rental to my friends and family and we will be booking again.

Overall great experience and plenty of space for everyone to sleep and do their own thing even as a large group.
