This small hotel just oustside Foix is in a quiet, leafy location and it proved to be a very relaximg stay. The host couple were friendly and attentive. Dinner and breakfast were excellent.
While the rooms were a good size some of the fittings in the bedroom and bathroom were a bit old, although this didn't detract from our stay. Depending on your viewpoint, the hotel could be too far from Foix or just the right distance. You definitely need a car.

A peaceful country setting in which to unwind among lovely gardens and fields.
Our groundfloor room and en suite were both spacious and comfortable.
The food was varied and delicious, served outdoors under a pergola by a charming woman who fortunately spoke excellent English. The cheese from the nearby convent was especially good.
Breakfast was basic French but with freshly cooked eggs of choice.
An altogether delightful pause in a hectic itinery. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful stone property tucked back from main road. Parking at rear. Lovely garden terrace. Warm and friendly welcome from owner who gave us a lot of information about Foix. Ground floor room was spacious and bathroom big enough for disabled. Delicious evening meal.
Unfortunately dining not available there on our second night (a Tuesday) - as were many of the town's restaurants which were closed that day.
