Top. Die Dame am Telefon gab uns einen Code für die Eingangstür. Da sie aber früher dort war, war die Tür schon auf. Für das Appartement gab es einen weiteren Code. Sie trug mir sogar den Koffer hoch.
Das Licht in der Küche war sehr dunkel.

Centrally located to old town Quedlinburg. Easy access from train station.

It's close to the centre but so are others. Quedlinberg is a small town.
Rooms were ok. But pretty basic.
Many issues.
First, our check in was mismanaged. Even though we communicated our arrival time well ahead, the owner didn't tell us where to park. We were asked to get instructions regarding parking upon arrival.
When we arrived, the entrance door was locked. We tried calling the owner, nobody answered. Then we drove around a bit looking for parking while one of us stayed outside the property. After about 20 minutes, some lady came with the keys. Parked her car on kerbside, kept the car on running and rushed us through the check in.
Second, the property charged us extra 6 euros. Apparently this is tourist tax but wasn't mentioned in the booking website. No invoice was given either for the payment of the room.
Third, when I asked for invoice in the morning of check out and the reason for extra charges over the phone, the owner became very nasty. Ultimately we had to sort out the matter through booking.com.
Last, the downside to the room on the main street is that you can hear people chatting as they walk past until 11pm.
