I do not reccomend this place for (at least) 5 reasons.

I left a private comment to the owners trying to help them. The comment, written in a highly respectful tone, was about the lower lid of the toilet getting a yellowish shade underneath. I did not want to make the comment public to avoid making a bad impression of the place, which was otherwise clean. Instead of being grateful, the owner answers very offendedly saying that nobody before left the apartment, "especially the WC", so dirty - which is a HUGE LIE. We left the apartment in a normal condition, as every other owner of the many places we have been through Booking.com can endorse. Now that we know the owner does not value private comments, let's make them public. The facts are the following: 1- Unlike what some reviews say, the place is located in a very remote village - a 20 minutes drive from Espéraza (not 10). Check Google Maps if you don't believe it. 2- The toilet is in a separate room from the rest of the washroom, which is rather anti-hygienic. 3- The heating consists of electric radiators that take hours to heat the house. We of course turned them off before departure and disposed of the garbage, but the owner apparently did not appreciate it. 4- There is no dishwasher. We have been in places in better-located towns in the area with fully equipped kitchens. (We of course did the dishes!) 5- During our visit the owners didn't show up. They left the key in a small box with a combination lock, where you are supposed to return it without doing a proper checkout - making the mentioned owner's lies more outrageous. The least you can do when you rent a place is to be there at some point to see if everything is okay or not. Apparently, it took too much effort even for the owners to be there. Personal appreciation- the washroom faucets are ridiculously ugly, as well as the couch. P.S. (Answering comment below) No report from Booking of course. But with these ethics I suspect some reviews are self-made. Beware.
