Unhygienic, no hot water, shower too dirty to use.

The location is pretty good

We were really happy at the beginning: good price, good location, and the pictures showed a stylish and well-maintained accommodation. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. The apartment is clearly neglected and in poor condition. There was a terrible smell upon entering, and the place looked nothing like the photos (for example, there is no Smeg vintage fridge as shown). It was very dirty – we found a lot of hair on the floor, and the bathroom was the worst part. The shower has no door, only a white curtain covered in black mold, as were the tiles inside the shower cabin. The shower area was so dirty and moldy that it was impossible to use it. A used toothbrush from a previous guest was left on the window ledge, the toilet was not cleaned, and the bidet was broken. The power strip near the bed was plugged into an outlet held together with transparent tape, the same tape used to hold a button on the gas boiler — which we discovered in the morning was not working, so there was no hot water. The issue appeared early in the morning when we tried to take a shower before leaving. We even asked for a late check-out to allow time to fix it, but it was denied. The host only offered an apology, and the problem was fixed at 10:30 a.m., just before the mandatory check-out at 11:00. In addition, the property rules ask guests to stay quiet after 9 p.m., but you can hear every single noise from the street and the staircase, making it difficult to rest. The place is also full of mosquitoes, which is why they provide chemical repellent products inside the apartment. We stayed only one night, as we were just passing through Florence on our way to Rome, and for us a clean bed, a working shower, and basic comfort were essential. Overall, this accommodation does not match the photos, description, or quality standards advertised on Booking.com. It should be inspected to ensure minimum hygiene, safety, and comfort requirements are met.
