The cottage was perfect. Quality decor,new applances. Bang in the centre of Hexham so perfect for getting around. Welcome gifts were a lovely touch. Would stay again

The cottage was beautifully appointed, clean and perfectly located just a short walk from Hexham's historic market place, shops, restaurants and places of cultural interest. Despite being adjacent to a busy main road, the cottage felt surprisingly quiet and tranquil. Its small and compact interior was perfect for a single occupant as in my case!

Vine Cottage was a lovely place to stay: spotlessly clean; well-appointed, from new appliances to essential items and little extras such as games and books; prettily furnished; and in a central location for exploring Hexham on foot. (I did not have a car, but restaurants, shops, train station and sites were in easy walking distance.) When I arrived, I found cake, fresh flowers and note from the owners to welcome me. I wish every holiday rental were like this!

Location great, it was a little house which was ideal for us. Hosts very solicitous and thoughtful.

Fantastic location. Lovely welcome package. Beautiful area for walking. Cottage so fresh and clean. Shower has great water pressure. Hairdryer nice touch. Overall a great time in sunny Hexham!

Very central, 10 minute walk up from station, 5 minutes from centre of Hexham. Handy for restaurants, shops and pubs. Also close to Abbey and castle.
