The fact they have valet is amazing because parking would have been a challenge with 2 little kids and all their stuff. The front desk were amazing! I rven in the middle of the night had a lady help me find congestiin medicine for my son at like 3 am which was helpful! The breakfast was good, the kids loved the room. We even had a visit from thr Easter bunny. The property is gorgeous!

Beautiful and clean, friendly staff, great food for breakfast and in the star lounge!

Super clean! I normally don't feel cozy in hotel beds because I'm a bit paranoid but everything was super spotless. Front desk was wonderful. We brought our French Bulldog with us and it was only $75 for the stay which is extremely reasonable. We felt safe in the area, and parking was easy. We parked across the street in front of the park and walked 20 steps to the front.

Caution booking through Hotel.com for this hotel! They don’t guarantee your room you book. We booked a 1 bedroom suite. They gave us a studio suite. We have a family of 4 and booked this hotel because of the 1 bedroom suite. Wouldn’t have stayed here otherwise. The receptionist was extremely rude and made no effort to accommodate us. Pretty much said too bad. The manager was unavailable and then offered a small refund. We wanted the room we booked. Not a refund. The rooms are clean. You can hear everything in the hallway from the room. The restaurant was good. Extremely over priced. The valets were awesome. You have to valet your car for $30 a night. No other parking available. We had this hotel booked again for May and will be staying somewhere else.

Great historical ambience, service, and restaurant in midtown Sacramento across from Fort Sutter park. Rooms were clean & comfortable.r

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and the staff was excellent. The ambiance was welcoming and hospitality. We enjoyed the star lounge and the bar mgr. even gave us complimentary glasses of champagne bubbly while we waited for our drinks and appetizers. The bar staff is very knowledgeable and friendly as we celebrated my birthday weekend at the hotel. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. Thank you.

This hotel is a little gem in midtown Sac! Stayed there to help our son move to Sac. The room was quiet and bed was comfortable. Has only valet parking ($35/nite) but there is really no other place to park. Breakfast was great. They have a cool bar and happy hour! Will def stay there again!

Quiet hotel , nice rooms, enjoyed the breakfast. I would say to keep the tables clean /wiped off more. Bar nice at night. Bun was too crispy on the slider.

Fire alarm went off at 4am. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay. All of the staff were exceptional and I really enjoyed my meal at the star lounge.

Definitely a comfortable, well-equipped place for a work trip, but would massively adjust my expectations if I were to go back.
Booked a balcony room, which is a total misrepresentation. There is a balcony on the 6th floor that, technically, only two rooms should use, but are totally open to the public. There's a keypad next to the door which sort of implies that you need a key to open it, but nope. Someone could literally walk in off the street and enjoy that balcony. Not worth the extra spend, and feels intentionally deceptive on the part of the hotel.
All the staff were incredibly kind and hospitable, but it seemed like they didn't have any managerial support. I tried to go to the restaurant for dinner one night and in 30 minutes all I'd received was a glass of water and was still missing a menu. The servers were definitely swamped, it was just clearly understaffed. I overheard other tables saying how they'd been there for 90 minutes without receiving food and I gave up and left. Front desk staff were often open mouth eating at the desk or watching television on an ipad at full volume. Housekeeping never came to my room once in my 3 night stay. I could go on, but you get the point.
The hotel is fine, and I think with a little more top-down organization and staff support it would have felt like a great choice. Hopefully they'll iron things out down the road. Definitely don't book that "balcony" room though!

Location was ideal for my visit. Hotel amenities were great.

Booked this hotel b/c of it's proximity to my surgeon's office. All the staff I interacted with were gracious and on top of it. The room was newly renovated and very comfortable. The full breakfast, which was included, was very satisfying and the restaurant bar area is welcoming and the decor is elevated. Valet parking with unlimited in and outs was fine but others have complained about valet vs. self park. I preferred it. they have a handy app for you to alert them you need your car and it's ready for you when you get downstairs. I will definitely book here again when I return in March.

The place is in a good location and is in good shape. I did notice some minor little things with regards to cleanliness. The counters could have used a bit of a cleaning. The shower had soap residue that could have also been cleaned better. Other than that great.

Room was spotless, dining room not so much. I love this place though, highly recommend! It’s super cute and the location is unbeatable.

Stayed for 2 nights for business. Newly renovated; historic building---with 2 fireplaces always running in the sitting rooms off the lobby; very cozy. Modern rooms with very nice showers! In great area in mid-town Sac---plenty of bars and restaurants to walk to. I would stay again.

I would definitely stay here again!! Beautiful place! The staff was so friendly and accommodating! The star lounge was top notch food, drinks atmosphere amazing! The best continental breakfast we’ve had!

Was a little disappointed, our friends had the room next door to us and ours was much smaller with no kitchen and no couches. We booked at the same time just different sites, and the room descriptions were very similar. A little far from dinning but really nice hotel.

Stayed here for New Years. Parking is terrible! Parking meter across the street if you’re lucky to get a parking there. There is a parking garage across the street but it was closed so you had no choice then to use the vale which causes a car pile up on a main road. Room was clean but there was no ice on three floors, no water.

Overall I had a lovely stay - the hotel is very beautiful! I loved the cleanliness of the room, the comfortable bed, the delicious and plentiful breakfast and excellent customer service throughout the hotel. I had a noisy neighbor and they were not at all considerate of others. At 1am I did complain and asked to be moved to another room so I could sleep prior to a 3am wake up. The front desk rep was very apologetic and moved me to a more quiet room ASAP which i was very thankful for. I would stay here again!

Staff was great. Room was never cleaned in 9 days we were there.
Stayed on first floor and sounded like construction going on in next room over from us till midnight.

This was a last minute change as the hotel I had originally booked was subpar. I am so happy it was as the staff was friendly and the building and room was amazing. I can’t say enough amazing things about our stay, we will be staying there again soon.

Great place to stay. Rooms are interesting with kitchens and the restaurant was excellent in the dining room that was outstanding

Nice location. Hotel is very pretty with original historical details.

Non existent housekeeping. No fresh towels and no warning upon check in that we had to request housekeeping during our stay. Toilet clogged and when they came and un clogged it, left dirty towels and toilet behind. Both nights, front desk left unmanned at times with a sign saying will be back soon. Property open to street and not safe at those times. It’s a shame. First Hyatt I wouldn’t recommend. Management needs work for sure. Nice facility that is improperly managed.

Staff was great and friendly, pricy, but worth it. Rooms are not quiet though. Lots of neighboring noise
