About this apartment rental
Anyone who drops anchor here for a vacation will discover a true gem. Even in the living room, everything feels light and soothing, thanks to the balance between clean lines and soft curves, while light colors and plenty of windows provide light and warmth. During the colder months, the antique tiled stove—which blends beautifully into the living room—also helps keep the space warm. Other key elements of this harmonious living space include the natural stone tile floor, the cozy couch, and the dining table with its comfortable upholstered chairs, which also add a splash of color. Speaking of accents: the light switches and some of the light fixtures are from the London-based manufacturer Buster & Punch and make a bold design statement—as does the extravagant wallpaper in the guest bathroom. However, those who prefer to make a statement while cooking will feel right at home in the high-end kitchen. In addition to a Quooker faucet, a wine cabinet, and a washer-dryer, it also features a built-in fully automatic coffee machine that uses smart technology to conjure up the most delicious coffee specialties from fresh beans. From the living area, you can also access the second “living room”—the magnificent west-facing garden terrace—complete with a beach chair for sunbathing.
One flight of stairs down in the basement are the two bedrooms. Here, instead of natural stone, a light-colored solid wood floor was chosen, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The only things cozier than these are the two double beds, one of which has a special feature: a TV that slides out from the foot of the bed at the push of a button.
