We had a very pleasant weekend in a nice place, really appreciated the view of the city from there

The place is by the bus station, easy to find, and the instructions to get in were clear. We had a very responsive host

Everything was fine, although there was no heater. The weekend was sunny, so we didn't really feel cold. Instead of a heater, there were plenty of cozy duvets to keep you warm

Good location BUT everything else leaves much to be desired & repaired

Wifi works. Great view towards city centre (1.5km away). Washing machine. Leaving the dirty/filthy kitchen and apartment in need of proper repairs by a qualified tradesman.

So much to list... 1. The owner is happy to communicate with you BEFORE you arrive, though not necessarily in an accurate way. . 2. This is a large block of apartments, perhaps 160 in all. Parking on site has space for just 32 vehicles. The building is between two roads, one relatively quiet and a major street that is one of two main arterial roads into Nancy. Parking on the street is free but you're competing with literally hundreds of residents of this block and surrounding residences. Free if/when you can find it. We had to park on the other side of the arterial road some hundreds of metres up the hill with no pedestrian crossing available without an extra 130m detour with bags. . 3. No soap (listed as provided), just a small amount of water shook around in it and about 40 sheets of toilet paper (no spare roll) for 2 people over 4 nights. Messaged owner, 'I'll talk to cleaner.' We asked when soap etc is coming, NO REPLY. . 4. Apartment in a state of disrepair, bordering on dangerous. Curtains are suspended on a cord that, in every room (see pictures) has at least one end near fully out of the wall - we did not risk moving them for fear of them coming down completely. . 5. Kitchen needed a 'professional' clean of two to three hours alone. The oven is caked in grease and multiple different food (we hoped) scraps, as is the oven tray and shelves. So much for doing our own cooking unless we went out and bought up big on cleaning supplies and scrapers. Sent a message to the owner. . 6. Various electric wire conduits have fallen off together with loose fitting/coming off the wall power outlets. . 7. Bed in smaller of the two bedrooms had 7 slats drop out when I sat on it (weight=78kg). I sat down to take of my shoes, I didn't drop onto it. The middle support upright underneath all the slats is broken. . 8. Too few power outlets in kitchen & ones there being loose/dangerous.

The owner is very kind and helpful. The location is a couple of minutes from city centre and highway. Although it's an apartment, you hardly hear nor see any neighbours! The bed was very comfortable.

The owner is very kind and helpful. The location is a couple of minutes from city centre and highway. Although it's an apartment, you hardly hear nor see any neighbours! The bed was very comfortable.

La vue sur Nancy et environ est absolument magnifique de jour comme de nuit ! L'appartement est globalement bien équipé. Une salle de bain, une salle d'eau (douche spacieuse) et un WC séparé. L'arrivée est autonome. Il y a un arrêt de bus à proximité immédiate (Messier) sur la ligne T4 qui va au centre en direct. Pratique.

Le mobilier est usé ou cassé (frigo, éléments de cuisine, tiroirs, meubles, seuil de porte...). Le confort de la literie est moyen. La propreté doit être améliorée surtout à la cuisine. Pas de volet ou store à la cuisine. Résultat: on chauffe tout l'appartement dès qu'il y a du soleil. Petite déception dans la salle de bain: ni le bain à remous, ni les jets de la douche ne fonctionnent. Nous n'avons pas trouvé de code pour le WIFI ?... Les places de parking sont limitées... A défaut, on peut trouver au alentour...
