Great place to stay in Vic Falls

Beautiful thatched roof property in large grounds with fabulous outdoor area with lounges etc and honesty bar. Amelia and Maxwell were so helpful and room, although small was fine.

Ich hatte eine wahnsinnig schöne und erholsame Zeit.

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, das Personal zuvorkommend und die Betreiber*innen der Lodge sehr freundlich und interessiert an ihren Gästen. Sogar der Hund, Bin Tang, ist sehr lieb und zutraulich. Hält aber auch Abstand, wenn man sich mit Hunden nicht so leicht tut. Die Lodge liegt mitten im Nationalpark. Nachts überqueren Elefanten, Büffel und andere Wildtiere die Straße vor dem sicher eingezäunten Garten, weshalb man nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit mit dem Auto mobil ist. Mir persönlich hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut getan und ich hab' mich ab dem ersten Tag wie zuhause gefühlt, dank Emilia, Maxwell, Andrew und Felicity. Es gibt außerdem sehr köstlichen, selbst gerösteten Kaffee. WÄRMSTE EMPFEHLUNG!

Nichts. Ich habe tatsächlich keine Verbesserungsvorschläge. Wunschlos glücklich. Vielleicht könnte Andrew irgendwann eine offizielle Kaffee Verkostung anbieten ;)

Хорошее место, чтобы пожить у водопада

До водапада 15-20 минут пешком. Персонал очень приветливый. Тихий номер. Магазины и кафе все в центре до них так же 10-15 минут пешком. По улицам ходить можно, если не смущает, что каждые 2 минуты вам будут пытаться что-то впарить или развести на деньги. Либо можно ехать на такси за 5$) На 4 дня пойдёт.

Номер немного маловат. Можно было жить поближе к центру, но это наша ошибка, а не отеля. Вода в номере была наверно из под крана, лучше покупать в бутылке. На завтрак лучше проверять, что наливаете или накладываете (один раз там было прокисшее молоко). Завтрак очень скучный и почти всегда болел живот.

Good people, good home.

Staff is fabulous. Upon arrival, they will walk you through your planning, activities. Always helpful with transportation. Local folks who are kind and good people. Clean facilities, good breakfast to get you off to a good day. Lovely and quiet pool and bar area. On edge of town next to the bush which was nice.

A must-stay while visiting Vic Falls!

What didn't we like? The property is stunning and feels like you're staying in a slice of paradise. The room was very comfortable, and the lounging area + pool were superb. A giant shoutout to Maxwell and Elsie - they are the sweetest and most accommodating humans ever! Maxwell made us feel right at home, and assisted us with booking all of our activities as soon as we arrived. Elsie always checked in on my husband and I, and it felt like we were chatting with a family member. We feel so lucky to have met them (a huge bonus on top of an already lovely stay). The breakfast is delicious, and the staff is super accommodating to your schedule. Lastly, Binnie (the property dog) is the NICEST boy and it was such a delight to enjoy his company. If you're staying in Vic Falls, I highly recommend you stay at the Drift Inn...it's off the beaten path and only a 10-15 minute walk into town. You're out of the touristy area and can take the opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet. Thanks for an incredible stay!

Super obiekt, mały, butikowy hotel, świetnie zagospodarowana przestrzeń wspólna, kawa, herbata, woda dostępna w strefie wspólnej dla gości cały czas bezpłatnie. Świetny wystrój miejsca, miła, relaksująca atmosfera, opiekuńczy managerowie. Idealne miejsce na relaks.

Vic Falls January 2023 Stay

The location, the facilities and the cleanliness. Stuff quite friendly. Aircon was good. WiFi was stable

The breakfast 1st morning was quite a disaster, ....very small position and not so palatable, sausages were dry and beans were tasteless. Couple checkin, the room had two separate beds so we had to put them together, and our showers were down the corridor, perhaps put sink in the room without a shower.

Lovely Stay and would highly recommend! Great value too!

Such a peaceful place. Wonderful breakfast. Lovely pool. It’s our second time here and we love it.

It is slightly out of town for those who want to be in the middle of things but it’s only a 5 USD taxi to the main square (which is then just a 10 min walk to the falls).

Buen hotel para alojarse cerca de Victoria Falls

El hotel muy bonito. Las zonas comunes muy cuidadas y la decoración preciosa. El personal muy amable y atento en todo momento. Tienen una estupenda zona para relajarse junto a la piscina. Buena relación calidad - precio teniendo en cuenta los precios altos de la zona.

La única pega que le pondría es el tamaño de la habitación, la que nos tocó un poco pequeña, y poco espacio para el almacenaje de ropa y cosas de aseo.

Very friendly and helpful staff Room with garden view, AC, and very hot water Breakfast is nice

Perhaps it’s the delivery options- there are only two options available for food delivery ( the location is about 2km from the Main Street and you need to pay 5usd to go there for lunch / dinner).

it was so amazing, I wish my stay in Victoria Falls was longer. I definitely recommend it!

The Lodge is located in the nature in Victoria Falls, Coffee and water is available for free all the time, it's very casual and the staff is so friendly and helpful, the lodge includes a great bar with all kinds of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. It is a "trust-bar", so you can take whatever you want and serve yourself, but you need to write it into a book at the bar when you take something to drink to pay it later. The city center is a 25 minute walk or a 6 minute drive frome the lodge. I will definitely return and recommend it to my family and friends to go together with them next time! Wifi and breakfast which is served in the garden of the lodge also very good.

There was literally nothing I didn't like.

Sehr nette Betreiber die alles organisieren, gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück, gemütlicher Garten mit netter honest bar. Ca. 20 Minuten Fußweg zum Stadtzentrum, bzw. 5$ mit dem Taxi.

Stunning Oasis in Vic Falls

Everything. The beautiful spaces inside and out. Clean refreshing pool and self serve bar with amazing selection and prices. Very comfortable beds and linen. Lovely breakfast and staff were very attentive. The place was a little oasis just outside the bustle of the tourist centre. We were really glad we stayed here and not the busy tourist hotels. so much nicer and taxis into town were easy, or a nice 2km walk along the national park.

Drift Inn is a must-visit: warm, welcoming, well-equipped, in a safe area and of fantastic value!

I cannot recommend Drift Inn enough! As a single traveler or with friends and family, it is well-located, well-equipped, clean and of great value for money! In a safe neighbourhood, looking onto the national park, and with access to a swimming pool and bar, Drift Inn provides a warm, welcoming and homely stay in Victoria Falls. Whilst breakfast is provided, lunch and dinner can be facilitated for you by delivery from nearby restaurants, as can all taxi transfers and activities be facilitated. Emilia and Maxwell were fantastic and always available to assist, whilst Binting, the dog, was a sweet, friendly surprise on the property!

It would be fantastic if there were more hooks/hangers to hang clothing and/or bags. Drinking water often ran out in the dining room: it would be great if there were two water dispensers in the living room, or the jugs of water in each bedroom were kindly filled once cleaned. Furthermore, it might be beneficial for a bell to be placed in the reception area and/or at the gate, should guests arrive when staff are in the office.

Had a very lovely stay comfortable bed and staff were more than helpful, professional and friendly.

The breakfast was very good well prepared. The location of Drift Inn is excellent had a rare chance to see elephants roam the forest opposite the lodge. Free game excursion.

The idea that my room did not have bathroom. Although one was specifically allocated for my room it was a few doors away.

A perfect and comfortable place for two nights to visit Victoria Falls

Shawn's assistance was invaluable as he recommended and organized activities to ensure we had a comprehensive and enriching experience of Victoria Falls, both from the ground and the air. Maxwell and Emilia were incredibly courteous and attentive, going above and beyond to fulfill all of our needs. Lemon, our taxi driver, was simply the best, guiding us wherever we wanted to go and prioritizing our safety. The atmosphere was serene and relaxing, and we mustn't forget Benton, who added to the overall enjoyment of our stay.

Excellent stay I want to come back

The room was amazing, the staff so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and you have access to great tea and coffee all day. The surroundings are beautiful and if you re lucky you can see elephants from the property. I got a massage their at the spa and it was excellent and relaxing.

Amazing little gem! Great breakfast, great staff, adorable puppy and wild animals at your door step (securely behind a fence). The perfect base for exploring Vic Falls. Trusted and quick Taxi service available for night times. Pool, well-equipped bar, home-roasted coffee, spa, and yoga classes available for relaxation. Even better than the pictures tell.

Not sure if smoking cigarettes is really allowed or not on the premises, but within the property it is easily noticeable if someone is smoking around the rooms, for us this smell was very obvious and intruded our rooms a bit. I guess this is guest determined of course. But if you want a smoking free experience this could affect your experience.

Definitely a slice of paradise!

It's a perfect mix of a boutique hotel and the feeling of staying with family. Emilia and Maxwell couldn't be more helpful, friendly and kind. Beautiful room, lounge, bar/pool area. Spa treatments were amazing. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, served at a time that suited us. A peaceful paradise!
