About this apartment rental
Cosy, quiet and spacious 75 m² apartment with a private balcony, two separate bedrooms, a separate living room, an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen and free private parking. Ideal for up to four adults and a baby. Located in a small house in a quiet residential neighbourhood, about a 15-minute walk from Neutor, one of the entrances to Salzburg’s historic Old Town.
The apartment offers plenty of space for families, two couples or friends travelling together. With two separate bedrooms and a separate living room, up to four adults can stay comfortably without anyone having to sleep in the main living area. A baby cot is also available. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment.
The living room is a comfortable place to relax, with a cosy sofa seating area and a hammock. The Smart TV offers Netflix, Disney+ and Zattoo with more than 150 live TV channels. A selection of books and games is also available.
The first bedroom has a comfortable queen-size double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and satellite TV.
The second bedroom also serves as a study and has a sofa bed that converts into a comfortable queen-size double bed for two. It also has a wardrobe, armchair, desk with chair and a bookcase with plenty of books. From this room you have direct access to the private balcony.
The hallway has additional large bookcases with books and games, as well as a safe for valuables.
The separate kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and ideal if you enjoy cooking. Quality Miele appliances include an electric cooktop, oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. There is also a microwave, toaster, filter coffee maker, Nespresso machine and juicer, as well as a generous selection of cookware, dishes, glasses and kitchen utensils.
Nespresso capsules and filter coffee are provided, as well as a selection of organic teas. Basic cooking essentials such as oil, vinegar, salt and spices are also available. A large dining table with five chairs provides plenty of space for meals.
The bathroom has a shower, WC and hairdryer. Bed linen and towels are provided, and an iron and ironing board are available. For your safety, the apartment is equipped with a smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and fire extinguisher.
Guests can also use the shared washing machine and tumble dryer on the ground floor; detergent is provided. Behind the house there is a covered, open bicycle shelter. As it is not locked, please bring your own bicycle lock.
Free private parking is available at the house, with several spaces in the courtyard and one additional parking space behind the small chapel.
The apartment is non-smoking. Smoking is permitted on the balcony only.
The neighbourhood is quiet and residential, with mainly smaller houses and gardens. Six restaurants and traditional Austrian inns are within a 5–10-minute walk, with a bakery and supermarket also nearby.
Neutor, one of the entrances to Salzburg’s historic Old Town, is about a 15-minute walk away. The Festspielhaus and many of Salzburg’s major sights can also easily be reached on foot.
Bus number 1, about a five-minute walk away, provides a direct connection to the city centre and Salzburg main train station. Bus number 2, about a 6–7-minute walk away, provides a direct connection to Salzburg Airport.
Guests also receive the Salzburg Guest Mobility Ticket, providing free public transport throughout the federal state of Salzburg during their stay.
Check-in is from 3:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, luggage drop-off can be arranged from 10:30 AM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM.

The property was superb - even better than we expected. Comfortable, clean and cool even in the heatwave. The bus into the city centre was so convenient and Ruth left a great folder of information. We tried some of her recommendations in the local area and in the city. I would heartily recommend this apartment as a basis for exploring Salzburg. Being 15 mins away from the city centre hustle and bustle was ideal for us and made us feel relaxed each evening before another day of sight seeing.

Great space for our family to explore Salzburg. Location was convenient to bus/tram for a quick ride into old town. Lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance and the free parking was great since we didn’t use the car to get around the city. Apartment had all the comforts of home and we all loved the hammock to relax. Ruth was a friendly host and responded quickly to any questions we had.

This little apartment in Salzburg is a gem! Plenty of room for 3-4 people. Well appointed and thoughtfully decorated. Kitchen was very nice and beds were comfortable. Family/TV room was great—especially the hammock and day bed. Oscillating fans were a godsend as the weather was unbelievably hot! Dr. Ruth is a great host and thought of everything. The property is conveniently located near 2 bus stops that can take you right into central Salzburg, only a little over a mile away. Great value! 5s!

My family absolutely loved staying here! Ruth was proactively communicative and made the check in and out processes easy, along with her helpful info guide she has inside the place. It was more spacious than the pictures in my opinion. With 2 boys (ages 9 and 13), having space to spread out was SO nice. And the hammock in the living room might be the most memorable part of the trip for my kids. The beds were very comfortable and nice accommodations overall. There is a delicious bakery just 4 minute walk away that became a staple while we stayed there (she mentioned in her info guide). Wish we could stay longer, and we would definitely come back!
