Good location, recently refurbished to a high standard, good large balcony

Noisy, lots of noise all night from the street outside made it impossible to get a good nights sleep. Upper floor ceilings low so that unable to stand and constantly banging head. One lift was not enough for the property. Overpriced and an excessive deposit.

Nicely renovated apartment but not for tall people

Good location with only some 50 meters to the pists. Nice view of the mountains. Balcony. Very well equipped kitchen and nicely renovated entrance floor

This is a minimalistic apartment in terms of space - like most apartments in Val Thorens. However, be aware that this is not a three bedroom apartment and not really usable for people taller than 175cm. A narrow staircase leads up to a mezzanine with ceiling height of below 175cm and 180cm (different "rooms") We could not stand up. This is where the “bedrooms” are and the only place where you can store a bag, clothes, skiing equipment etc. And you can’t even stand up. We felt cheated. We where not being able to move around upstairs. Coming for skiing with three kids there is a lot of gear and we had to keep it all downstairs where there is no hooks to hang things, hardly any space to put helmets, gloves, backpacks, skiing clothes… We ended up having everything on the floor and nowhere to stay. One “bedroom” is actually the hallway for the staircase and there is close to zero ventilation all over. You have to open the windows to get some air but it’s facing a street with a lot of noise when people walk home from the pubs. The ski storage is lacking dryers for boots (like in many places in Austria) and only have room for 4 ski boots plus skies. The toilet is in a room of its own with no basin - you have go through doors to go to the real bathroom to wash your hands(!).
