A basic place to stay in Val Thorens
It is advisable to read all the rules and regulations before coming so as not to be disappointed (the check-in is late, there are no bed sheets and towels, etc.), and they will probably charge for extra cleaning no matter how well you clean the apartment
It is not a new place so expect it to be a simple room. make sure you read all the emails they send ahead of time so as not to be disappointed.
The double bunk bed space has a weird design that can not be closed, so the kids had a hard time sleeping when there was light in the living room or anywhere else. They also complained that the beds were not as comfy as they were in previous years.
It was not easy for some beginners to get to the snow as the path to the slope can be a bit steep at times.
We had some disappointing issues with the staff.

DO NOT STAY
I am assuming the current good reviews are fake as the apartment was dirty, it was falling apart in places, the water that came out the shower smelt funny, the bath water was orange and smelt awful, when raised with the rental company we were told that the entire building is like this and the issue was completely dismissed. The beds were rock hard and had stains on them. The toilet rooms were so small that the boys had trouble sitting down on the toilet as your knees touch the doors. Mold in the showers and the one shower room smelt awful. The other issue was the extra costs. It cost us over €100 more after booking for extras which we were only told about after the time period for cancelling was over. I checked when booking how much it cost to add towels and bedding and was quoted €13 euros for the entire stay for bedding and €7 each for towels. It was actually much more than this, the city tax is not included either and basic things like a sponge you have to pay extra for! We begrudgingly ordered the extras two weeks before arrival and the wrong items were at the property when we arrived. We had traveled over 10 hours and had to go the night without towels and had to go to the agents store to collect them the next day as well. An extra set of sheets were provided and charged by mistake of the company, we haven't been refunded for these even though we returned them unopened and unused at check out. The rental company in Val Thorens were rude and unhelpful. No WiFi is provided and the option to purchase is so expensive, we couldn't however connect the TV to our phone internet either to enjoy a movie on our quieter night in. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, it is not worth the money and you can get nicer accommodation with everything included for the same price.
