Villa in Apulia

About this villa rental
The centuries-old Mediterranean flora park encompasses the agricultural company’s vineyards and olive grove that surround the Villa.
The scents of palm trees, citrus, and pines, of the salty sea air and the Murgia, blend with the rose garden by the ancient well and throughout the park’s many enchanted spots.
Here, guests have the chance to experience the unspoiled harmony of Puglia.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the ethnobotanical restaurant located in the old stables of the fortified farmhouse. The restaurant is owned by the Montaruli brothers—known as Mezza Pagnotta—who, through their boundless passion for the land, bring their dialogue with nature to the table.
The history of Villa Fenicia is inextricably linked to the family that gave it its name.
Built in 1600 as a fortified farmhouse—the administrative center of 3,000 hectares of olive groves—it was donated to Giulio Cesare Fenicia, an archaeologist and then governor of Ruvo.
In 1870, Michele Fenicia transformed the farmhouse into the magnificent villa we know today. Thanks to the skilled and passionate restoration work of Antonio Fenicia, this picturesque place is one of the most evocative in the region.
