We had a very comfortable stay at Floyd’s Retreat. We were visiting family in the area, and loved the convenience of walking to shops, restaurants, and farmers’ market, just a couple of blocks away. We have stayed at another of this host’s properties in Overland Park, and both times have had great communication. We were not in town for any World Cup events, and we understand that the price was higher than usual, which was to be expected. A stay at a hotel would have been around the same cost, with no kitchen, no front porch, no tree-lined Neighborhood to walk in just around the corner …all of which we enjoyed. We highly recommend a visit to the incredible World War I Museum which is just a 30 minute drive in KC Missouri.

This home was in a perfect location for us with work and exploring. it is quaint and charming and the kitchen was small but had everything we needed for a meal in. The host was very responsive when we had a wifi issue the first day and took care of it within fifteen minutes. The beds are really comfortable and the pillows and linens were exactly what we like.
