Situated in Woodfin, this attractive house for $270 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Welcome to River Mist Retreat! This home is close to everything Asheville offers. Whether coming for a vacation getaway or attending an event, River Mist Retreat has everything you need, especially an amazing location! As you make your way to this home, you will be driving along the French Broad River, a lovely scenic area of Asheville. River Mist feels like a private mountain escape despite the fact that it is walking distance to the river park and only 5 miles to downtown, the River Arts District, and all that the city has to offer. This is a three story home. The home has a beautiful ambiance and is ideal for up to four couples (eight people). The main floor has two bedrooms with queen-sized beds and a full bath, with dining and living space for gatherings. The downstairs has a king bedroom, an en suite bathroom along with a great living space for entertaining and having fun. The upstairs bedroom has a king-sized bed, an en suite full bath, and a fantastic atmosphere. In this room, there is an adjacent area with a desk for those that need to get work done and a "pull-out" queen sofa-bed to sleep two additional people if needed. This space allows for the home to accommodate up to 10 people total. The outdoor space is lovely too, surrounded by mature trees on a serene and quiet cul-de-sac. There is a fire pit in the large yard for our guests to gather around playing music, making smores, or just breathing the fresh air. It is genuinely a beautiful yard for you to enjoy! There are also security cameras outside. Please note additional fees apply for a pet and any additional guests over 8 total. Pet policy: One small dog (20lbs or less) is welcome upon pre-approval, with a $150.00 pet fee. Exceptions might be made for pets with pre-approval of breed, size and age. Additional guests over eight people total is $50 per person. 10 total people allowed. Parking for 4 cars. The wifi is the fastest available at 1Gbps. We're looking forward to hosting you!

Our multi-generational family (6 adults/2 children) had a wonderful stay. We had plenty of room and the kitchen had enough dishes for us to cook and enjoy a few meals in. Each room has a TV (even though we didn't use them often) and there are several game options in the basement. Wifi worked great. Only about a 10 minute drive to downtown. The owner was very good at responding to questions. Would definitely stay here again.

This property was a perfect fit for our family of 7. Plenty of space with separation. The location is close to downtown Asheville and within 30 minutes of the airport. The host was gracious, accommodating, and quick to respond to all needs. This home is nestled into a quiet neighborhood with pleasant views of trees, walking path, and woods. Waking up in the mornings to birds singing and squirrels racing up and down the trees just off of the deck was a plus. It is close to the river and great for our early morning runner. If you are looking for a quiet beautiful retreat after a day of exploring beautiful Asheville....this is the place!

This place is great! It’s clean with all of the amenities and plenty of space for the whole family. The owners are very attentive and easy to coordinate with. Location is perfect, just 5 minutes north of downtown Asheville and a quick drive from the surrounding towns like Weaverville. We will definitely be staying here again — what a great experience!

This property was amazing—very clean, well stocked, roomy, tucked in a natural setting yet very accessible to the city. We were a family gathering of 3 generations—grandparents, adult children, and grandchildren. The home was spacious for each family to have their own area, yet could congregate in living room and basement was very comfortably. None of us felt we were falling over each other. Scott was very accessible during the booking process and during our stay, if any questions arose. The entire group highly recommended this home. If we are in the Asheville area again, we would love to stay here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property and all Asheville and beyond offered by way of tourism. Our only concern was spiders and small critters who made themselves most welcome as well. Mattresses just only tolerable as well as the pillows. Quiet and close to a variety of attractions and activities. Space feels like you are visiting a good friend’s home.

The pictures were a bit misleading but the property was great. Almost like having three separate living spaces, all tastefully done. Would be a nice place for couples. We would definitely go back.

Great place to stay for a friends reunion weekend. We mostly were out and about (about 15 min to downtown and easy to get Uber/Lyfts), but really enjoyed eating and hanging out on the deck when we were at the house.

Not a huge house, but it packs a lot of punch for it's size. We had 8 people plus a pooch. The basement made for a great space for the kids, the main floor had decent size kitchen and LR plus two good size bedrooms. The upstairs worked as two bedrooms with the extra sofa bed. It was great that there were spices, oils and basic essentials in the kitchen. Location was ideal. You felt like you were in the mountains, but so close to town (10 min). Loved being so close to the river park which was great for morning walks. Recommend this place.

My husband, two sons (ages 5 & 7), and I had an absolutely fantastic week staying at this home! The location is really wonderful - super convenient to everything! Some highlights from our week include: - Seeing a movie while enjoying pizza and drinks at Asheville Pizza and Brewery - Taking a tour of the French Broad chocolate factory - Biking, playing, and relaxing at Carrier Park - Exploring at the NC Arboretum There is so much to do in Asheville, and this home was the perfect home base for us. Our kids enjoyed the basement with the TV and games, as well as the 2nd floor bedroom with tons of little hiding spaces! The main floor has two queen bedrooms which worked perfectly for our family. The kitchen was great, and there is a little "drop zone" right there by the door for bags, shoes, etc. I could really go on and on about this house and about Asheville, but all in all, we had a really special week as a family, and we can't wait to return. Would 100% stay in this home again!

This house was a great location to head downtown. The living room was too small to gather and watch a movie, and the basement was a little cold. A new coffee maker possibly? We arrived late in the evening, and it would have been nice to have some bottled water and coffee for the AM since we weren't able to shop. Thank you for the snacks :) All in all, we enjoyed out stay.

Really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for eight adults to have some privacy and gather when called. Very convenient to downtown and attractions in the city. Nice to have the fire pit outside to gather around after a day of fun. Property Manager was easy to work with if needed. Highly recommend the home!

Bigger than you think... lots of room for everyone to chill. And, if needed , a tv in every room! The large dining room table came in handy for pancake breakfast made by Grandpa. The Kitchen was a good size and with 2 refrigerators we were able to store flowers in the lower frig. We came for a wedding. All the sheets and towels were nice quality and loads of pillows. The location seemed perfect for our needs, close to town but tucked away on a quiet street. We hope to rent it again!

We stayed at this house for the weekend. My sisters wedding was in downtown Asheville. Although we didn’t really get to enjoy to house as much as we would have liked because we were busy all weekend. My family is planning on coming back and staying at this property again. Very clean and just a short ride to downtown. It was the perfect house. Check in was so easy.
