The location was very convenient to get in the center. Quiet neighbouhood. The hotel was well decorated and welcoming. Rooms were large enough. The breakfast was very nice with lots of choice. The staff was welcoming. The garden is beautiful and would be nice to enjoy on sunny days.

Mainly the beds : they were not comfy, quite hard, did not sleep well. And the mattress of the sofa bed was very thin and only good for a small child I would say. The parking is quite expensive and not well explained. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay.

The location was very quiet and the room very confortable. We chose this hotel, because it was close to our daughter's apartment

Der var meget lydt så man kunne høre dem ovenpå gå rundt og loftet (gulv hos dem ) knirkede og gav efter. Tæpperne var ulækre og trængte til rens. Gulvet på vores værelse og på gangen var meget skæve, så man følte man røg ned i huller. Der trænger virkeligt til at blive lagt nye gulve som er lyd isolerende.

We booked an executive room for our wedding so we had more space to get ready and being significantly more expensive we expected it to be a bit nicer than the standard room we'd stayed in at the hotel before. Instead, it was almost exactly the same only with a few extra feet between the bed and the desk. We moved to the Travelodge for the last night of our Oxford stay to save some money and the room costed a fraction of the price and was larger and didn't look dissimilar to the executive room. Most of the staff were rude and disinterested. We ordered room service, just two burgers and a mixed bread and oils. It took an hour and twenty minutes to arrive. After 45 minutes I called down to ask how long we could expect to wait, they disappeared for ages so I hung up. They never called me back with an answer so I had to call again and they said yeah I checked it's coming now. I asked how long and they said 7 minutes, we waited almost 30 minutes after that. They didn't apologise at all on the phone. When the food came, the burger was fine but the mixed bread was in fact just a toasted panini so not mixed at all and quite solid.

Good location and generous comfortable rooms

I have used this hotel several times and we like the location and feel that it is value for money. Some of the staff were very helpful. The rooms are good and we like the fact that you still get biscuits in the rooms.

There was a confusion with the booking and we ended up paying twice for the extra person and because different people were on duty, they did not understand the issue. We were only given one towel in the room and had to ask for another.
