Almost as good as we expected

The location is quite close to the main walking street and just walking for 3 mins there’s a pizza restaurant nearby. All electronics are functioning well, we had a nice trip there.

It would be great if the curtains can block more sunlight (I am a light sleeper)

Cold Apartment, False Accusations, and Unprofessional Behavior

Noting

Getting to the apartment was very difficult. It was almost impossible to find the exact address and access it by car. The apartment is located inside a courtyard — you have to enter from the main street into one yard, then go down and enter another inner yard. When we arrived, the apartment was cold. We tried to turn on the heating and opened all the radiators. After that, we left our belongings in the apartment and went into the city, because it was impossible to stay inside due to the cold. When we returned, there was already a note on the door claiming that there was a smell of marijuana in the apartment. We were shocked by this accusation, because none of us smoked anything at all. We were not even in the apartment — we had only left our belongings there and gone out. We were told that a complaint would be sent to Booking. It was later said that a cleaner had entered the apartment and supposedly smelled marijuana. I asked why a cleaner was entering the apartment to check it while we were not at home. There was no clear explanation. Later that night, we went to sleep. Outside, the temperature was around minus 8 to minus 9 degrees Celsius. In the morning, the temperature inside the apartment was only about 20 degrees Celsius. Everyone was coughing and had a sore throat. In winter, especially with such freezing temperatures outside, 20 degrees is not a comfortable or sufficient indoor temperature. I contacted the apartment owner and told him that the apartment was cold and that I could not properly increase the temperature. He claimed that nothing was blocked and that everything was working normally, even though the heating system was clearly controlled remotely and locked for us. After that, he changed the settings himself and then sent me a photo saying that everything was working fine and that there was no problem. Overall, the atmosphere in the apartment was extremely uncomfortable. It was very hard to stay there, and the entire situation felt unsettling.

Duże mieszkanie w starej kamienicy. Lokalizacja doskonała. Ścieżka i schody między budynkami i wszystko jest bardzo blisko. W mieszkaniu było w zasadzie wszystko, co potrzebne. Pod tym względem dużo lepiej i oczywiście dużo taniej niż w Niemczech, skąd wracaliśmy. Przestronnie i czysto.

Jedyny minus był taki, że podróżowaliśmy w trzech niezależnych dorosłych. Wynajęliśmy to mieszkanie dlatego, że były trzy łóżka. Niestety przygotowane były dwa (jedno podwójne, którego chcieliśmy uniknąć, bo nie jesteśmy parą) i nie było dostępnej pościeli, żeby skorzystać z trzeciego łóżka.

De locatie was top! Vlakbij het centrum van Karlovy Vary, maar ook heel dichtbij de bossen rondom. De wasmachine was ook top! Het appartement was ook heel ruim.

Er was maar 1 koekenpan voor vlees en die was flink bekrast. De douchestraal kon je niet regelen en er waren alleen vintage voor de ramen.
