About this house rental
Adjacent to the old vegetable garden, the gardener’s house is an authentic Norman half-timbered building.
This charming and cozy vacation rental, right in the heart of the Pays d’Auge, lets you enjoy the peace and quiet, along with a beautiful view of the Norman bocage.
Come to Livarot (4 km) to discover how the famous Norman cheeses and cider are made. This is also horse country, with many stud farms nearby.
The Côte Fleurie—including Deauville, Cabourg, and Honfleur—is 30 minutes away, as are the D-Day landing beaches.
The house is comfortable. It features a bright living room (with a double sofa bed) and a fireplace equipped with a stove that you’re welcome to use. An open-concept kitchen that opens onto a dining area is separated from the living room by some half-timbering.
Upstairs, there is a beautiful bedroom with a double bed, and on the other side of the stairwell, a fully equipped bathroom with a bathtub.
You have access to a private, sun-drenched terrace. It is furnished with a table, chairs, and a parasol for enjoyable barbecues.
Directions
It is 200 km from Paris.
Lisieux is 14 km away: you can take the train to the Lisieux station and then take bus 253, which drops you off near the manor.
Livarot and its shops are 4 km away.
You can park near the cottage.
