For summer location, this was great to be close to the water/port/town, but not proper AC not good.
I loved the location and the space within the apartment. The balcony was lovely and there was ample room.
My strongest disappointment within the apartment was the false advertising of air conditioning. The apartment is listed to have full air conditioning - come to find out there was only air conditioning in the bedroom, and a weak/old system at that. It barely kept the room itself cold, and did not circulate to the entire apartment. Therefore the living room, kitchen, bathroom, were a SAUNA in the peak of summer. The listing should state "air conditioning in the bedroom" to allow customers to determine if that will suffice for their needs.
When voicing the air concerns to host, he informed us there is a singular fan. Please note we had already tried to turn this fan on. So once again we attempted to plug it into various outlets. The fan did NOT work, and in addition it had rust all over it and seemed unsafe to touch. After stating it did not work, it would've been nice to receive a replacement.
Leading into the next point, multiple Appliances had rust allll over - was scared to touch trash cans, fan, coffee machine, toilet paper holder, etc. There are simple things to replace to keep at fresh environment in a Penthouse.
Bathroom sink did not drain properly so there was always a puddle.
Host informed us the Bathroom door was broken and wasn’t able to close, so we had to macgyver a hand towel and pray it wouldn’t close and lock us out.
And finally, there were 5 different keys to get into the apartment - which were color coordinated, yet there were no instructions on which key to use at each door. For example, the host can easily provide "orange key is used for the first door, blue key is used for second door, etc" - instead we were sweating in the hallway playing a guessing game with multiple keys. Please add this for future guests check in instructions, it would be very helpful!
