Ofena is a peaceful village in the heart of Abruzzo. It’s ideal for nature lovers. It serves as a starting point for hikes, just a few kilometers from Campo Imperatore. Located between L’Aquila and Pescara, you can enjoy both the mountains and the Adriatic Sea.
In the summer, you can go canoeing on the Tirino River or travel a bit farther to Lake Scanno for a stroll or to ride a pedal boat, passing through Sulmona—the “city of sugared almonds.” Just a few kilometers away, you can visit other villages such as Santo Stefano or Calascio, home to La Rocca di Calascio castle.
The house is perfect for a peaceful family vacation. It offers all the necessary amenities.Bed linens, bath towels, a large fridge-freezer, an oven, a microwave, an Italian coffee maker (with coffee, of course), as well as a Senseo-style coffee machine and its dosette.Il. There’s also Wi-Fi and a large TV with international channels.The house will be cleaned upon your arrival and departure. If you’d like to have the house cleaned during your stay, this is available for an additional fee.
